WARNINGS

CAUTIONS

  • To insure personal safety, proper grounding of the electrical fixture is required.
  • The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.

SPECIFICATION

  • 15A 60Hz 120VAC – 1800W Max – Seperate Feed Wiring Capable
  • Maximum Tightening Torque: 14 in-lbf (1.6 Nm)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Tools Needed: Screwdriver, wire nuts, electrical tape.
If you are replacing an existing fixture, remove and disconnect the old fixture first.
Note: For Separate Feed and/or Switched Outlet Configuration wiring, the break off fin located in between the dark-colored screws should be removed before wiring. Use a Flat Head screw driver to bend the fin until it breaks off.

  1. Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse. See Warning.
  2. Remove the insulation from wires (approximately 3/8″ to 5/8″). The HOT terminals have dark-colored screws. Loop each wire around its respective terminal screw per the diagram below.
  3. Fasten Screws securely. Terminal screws accept up to #12AWG copper or copper clad wire
  4. Mount the switch using the long mounting screws provided. Attach the wall plate.
  5. Restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse. See Warning.

Maxxima will replace any warrantied product with the original consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects due to workmanship and/or materials within the limited warranty period.
