Product Usage Instructions

  1. Getting Started:
    • Insert the included CR 2032 battery with the correct polarity (+ pole above).
    • The thermometer will turn on automatically.
  2. Maximum and Minimum Temperatures:
    • The device can display the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded by pressing the “max/min” button.
  3. Fixing:
    • The device comes with a fixing mechanism for easy installation.
    • Follow the instructions provided to securely attach the thermometer to your window.
  4. Troubleshooting Problems:
    • If the thermometer display is not showing or is incorrect, check the battery polarity and replace the battery if necessary.
  5. Waste Disposal:
    • Dispose of the device and batteries in accordance with national or local regulations to protect the environment and human health.
    • Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries with ordinary household waste.

For your safety

  • Keep this device and the battery out of reach of children.

  • Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
  • Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
  • Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period of time.
  • Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.
  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.

Getting started

  • Open the battery compartment by using a coin (OPEN) and remove the battery insulation strip.
  • Take care of the black sealing ring.
  • Close the battery compartment (CLOSE).
  • Pull the protecting foil off the display.
  • The display shows the temperature and possibly the tendency (▲ or ▼).

Maximum and minimum temperatures

  • Pressing the MAX-MIN button the display shows the highest temperature (MAX) or the lowest temperature (MIN) since the last reset or the present temperature.
  • Press the SCAN button and the 3 temperatures are displayed in sequence ( ).
  • The maximum and minimum values are automatically reset at 8:00 / 20:00 o’clock.

Setting of the clock

  • Press the CLOCK button to enter the setting mode.
  • Press the MAX-MIN button to set the hours.
  • Press the CLOCK button again and set the minutes.
  • Press the CLOCK button again and you will return to normal mode.
  • Manual reset: Press and hold the CLOCK button for 4 seconds while the maximum and minimum temperatures are displayed.

Fixing

  • Fix the instrument with the suction cups or the transparent adhesive strips on the outside of the window. Please clean the glass before.

Attention

  • Avoid direct sunshine. It falsifies the indicated values! Extremely high temperatures may lead to damage of the display. Permanent sunshine may bleach the liquid crystals.
  • Due to the heat emission (depending on isolation) and the protected location of your window it is possible that the temperature displayed on your instrument is higher than the outdoor temperature at a free unsheltered location directly over the ground.

Waste disposal

Disposal of the electrical device

Remove non-permanently installed batteries and rechargeable batteries from the device and dispose of them separately. This product is labeled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE). This product must not be disposed of in ordinary household waste. As a consumer, you are required to take end of- life devices to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, in order to ensure environmentally-compatible disposal. Observe the current regulations in place!

Disposal of the batteries

Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries with ordinary household waste. They contain pollutants which, if improperly disposed of, can harm the environment and human health. As a consumer, you are required by law to take them to your retail store or to an appropriate collection site depending on national or local regulations in order to protect the environment.

The symbols for the contained heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, and Pb=lead.

  • Batteries containing lithium can explode
