Overview
Thank you for purchasing this camera. The product is a professional mini HD WiFi camera with a built-in WiFi module and supports wireless network protocol. This product can record videos; the playback speed of 30fps makes the picture clearer and smoother. The storage medium uses a compact SD card, which can be played through a computer or a high-definition TV. Please keep this instruction manual properly. Operation
Power on
Long press the power button for 3 seconds. After the red/blue indicator light
flashes three times quickly, the blue indicator light turns off, red indicator
light flashes slowly. The recorder starts recording.

Long press the power button for 3 seconds. The red/blue indicator light
flashes quickly 3 times, and the camera stops recording.
Red/Blue Indicator Light Working Status
- Blue light: Flashing Slowly – In Charging
- Steadily lights – Fully Charged.
- red light: Flashing Slowly – Recording
- Quick flash – Emergency recording
- Steadily lights – Stop recording.
The camera has a built-in G-Sensor. If the G-Sensor is triggered, the camera will record an emergency video and the video file name will be GSR-XXXX. “GSR” emergency videos can only be saved up to 10. If there are more than 10, the earliest emergency video will be deleted.
Charging Mode
The blue indicator light flashes slowly, and the recorder is charging; the
blue indicator light is always on, and the recorder is fully charged. The
recorder charger should use a 5V/2A and above charger to charge the recorder.
Chargers with fast charging functions are not recommended to charge the
recorder.
The recorder can be connected to a computer. The recorder will start charging
when connected. After inserting the memory card, it can be used as a USB flash
drive, and the video files in the memory card can be browsed directly on the
computer. When plugging in the charger to charge, the recorder will record
while charging. If you don’t want to record the camera when charging, you can
log Turn on/off WiFi.
Capture Feature
- When the recorder is not connected to an external power supply, the WiFi function is turned off. If you want to connect to WiFi, you need to wait until the recorder is turned on. Then short press the power button twice in a row, the blue indicator light will slowly flash, and WiFi will be turned on. After successfully connecting to WiFi on the phone, enter the app and the blue indicator light is always on.
- After turning on WiFi, if you don’t want to connect to WiFi, short press the power button twice in a row, the blue indicator light will turn off, and the WiFi will turn off.
- If the WiFi is turned on, but the APP is not used to connect it, the recorder will automatically turn off the WiFi function after 3 minutes.
- You can also double-click the blue button on the remote control to turn on or off WiFi.
- When the recorder is not connected to an external power supply, press the power button manually, and short press the power button once after the recorder is turned on. The recorder will directly start recording emergency video and take a photo at the same time. And the red indicator will flash quickly. Recording Feature
- When the recorder is not connected to an external power supply, press the power button manually. After the recorder is turned on, it will automatically record video.
- If the recorder is connected to an external power supply, it will not automatically record video after the recorder is turned on. You need to manually short-press the power button once.
- The red indicator of the recorder flashes slowly, and the recorder starts recording.
Video File Name
REC-XXXX— Normally recorded videos
GSR-XXXX— Emergency recorded videos
KEY-XXXX— Emergency recorded videos
The recorder will lock the last 20 emergency recorded videos that are not overwritten by the normally recorded videos. When there are more than 20 emergency video files in the memory card, the earliest emergency video will be automatically deleted.
SD Card Slot
- Insert the SD card into the card slot in the direction indicated until it is fixed in the card slot.
- When removing the SD card, please gently press the SD card, then take it out after the SD card is ejected.
- Please take care of the SD card insert direction. If the SD card is inserted reversely, both the camera and the SD card will be damaged.
- If the SD card is not compatible with the camera, please re-insert another SD card and try again.
- Please use a high-speed SD card (CLASS 10 above).
WiFi Function Introduction
Support mobile APP time synchronization; real-time preview of the recording
videos; Playback, delete SD card video files and mobile phone local video
files; System settings and other functions. System settings include loop
recording/format card/system recovery, etc.
Date and Time Setting
The mobile APP synchronizes the time. First turn on the recorder WiFi, after
the mobile phone is connected to the recorder WiFi successfully, open the APP
on a mobile phone. The time of the phone will be automatically synchronized to
the recorder.

When D5 series recorders are connected to the power bank through the Type-C

2.4G Wired Controller
Red Button
When the recorder is on, short-press the red button once, the recorder will
start recording emergency video and will capture a picture. And the red
indicator will flash quickly.
Blue Button:
When the recorder is on, short press the blue button, the WiFi will be turned
on and the blue indicator light will flash slowly. When the recorder is on and
WiFi is turned on, short press the blue button once to turn off WiFi. The blue
indicator will go out. When the recorder is on, press the blue button three
times continuously. The red/blue indicator light of the recorder will flash
quickly 3 times and then go out. Then the recorder shuts down.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the remote control, and then lift off the protective cover.
- Push the coin cell battery out of the side with a screwdriver or fingernail.
- Install the new battery into the battery base according to the positive and negative poles.
- After ensuring that it can be used normally, close the protective cover and screw back the screws.

Mobile APP Installation and Operation Instruction
The WiFi APP is a mobile control software used with VSYSTO camera equipment.
This software connects to the camera device via Wi-Fi, can preview the
playback video directly on the mobile phone, and easily realizes the operation
of viewing the files in the camera on the mobile phone screen and performing
settings and other operations. It subverts the control mode of traditional
cameras and brings you a whole new experience.
Download and Installation
Scan the QR code above to download the latest APP from Google Play and the APP
Store. Or you can search “WiFi Camera” on Google Play or APP Store to download
and install it.
Conditions of use and product association
- Smart terminal with Android 5.0 or higher or Apple terminal.
- Purchase a recorder terminal device that uses the VSYSTO design scheme, and connect the mobile phone’s WiFi to the camera correctly DVR WiFi. Default Name: DV-D5S-xxxx Default Password:1234567890
- To ensure the normal use of APP functions, please update the APP to the latest version in time
Connection Steps
- Turn on the recorder, double-click the power button or short-press the blue button of the remote control once to turn on the WiFi.
- Enter the WiFi setting interface of the phone, find the corresponding WiFi name, and enter the password to connect to WiFi.
- Open the mobile phone APP, and connect the recorder.
Synchronous recorder time
After connecting the phone to the camera WiFi, open the APP. When the APP
prompts “Command succeeded”, it means that the recorder time has been
synchronized with the phone time (as shown in the following figure).
Live preview(video/photo)
After connecting the camera WiFi with a mobile phone, open the APP and click
*Connect Device” to enter the video preview status. In the video preview
state, you can control the camera to take videos or photos. Click [7] for full
screen display(as shown in the figure below)
Browse camera files
Click to browse the video files on the camera memory card. (as shown in the
figure below)
Playback camera files
Browsing the camera file interface in the “Online” option, click the file you
want to playback.
Download or delete camera files
Browsing the camera file interface in the “Online” option, click “EDIT” to
select the file that you want to download or delete and then click “Save” or
“Delete” below as needed (as shown in the figure below)
Local files management
Click to enter the browsing interface of the local files to replay/delete the
files stored in the mobile phone and the operation is similar to the online
interface.
Settings
Camera Parameter Setting
Click Soling to enter the parameter setting interface of the camera to set
some parameters of the camera in the APP. Among them, you can set the WiFi
name and the password of the DVR in Setting SSID (as shown below)
ATTENTION
Solutions for WiFi Connection Problems on Some Mobile
Phones: Android: First turn off your phone’s mobile data and then connect
to the DVR’s WiFi. If the prompt “Trust this Network” appears, you must click
“YES”, because an Android phone forbids mobile data to ensure the recorded
video file transferring speed from DVR to mobile phone.
IOS: Allows the mobile phone to continue to use the mobile network after
connecting to the recorder via WIFI, but it affects the speed of downloading
the DVR’s video files to the mobile phone.
Troubleshooting
After setting a new password, what should I do if I forgot it? Contact
customer service to fix the firmware. The lens is fuzzy and the video is not
clear. Check the appearance of the lens for dirt and dust. The device freezes
or does not record.
Please press the reset button of the machine with a sharp needle to reset the
camera. The camera can be turned on but doesn’t record Check whether the TF
card is normal, format it on the computer, or connected to the device’s WiFi
and
format it on the APP. If you have a problem that cannot be resolved, please
contact us through a message or customer service email.
Usage Suggestions
Please use 5V 2A charger to charge the equipment. It is a normal phenomenon
that the device is heated in use.
