Overview

Thank you for purchasing this camera. This product is a professional mini HD WiFi camera with a built-in WiFi module and supports wireless network protocol. The recording resolution of this product is up to 4K, which can record perfect video images; the playback speed of 30fps makes the picture clearer and smoother. The storage medium uses a compact TF card, which can be played through a computer or high-definition TV. Please keep this instruction manual properly. Operation

Power on
Long press the power button, and the red/ blue indicator is always on. After the motor in the recorder vibrates for 3 seconds, the recorder is turned on. The red light flashes slowly, the motor vibrates once, and the recorder starts recording.
Power off
In the recording state, long press the power button, and the recorder stops recording. The motor vibrates three times, the red/blue indicator light flashes slowly three times, and the recorder shuts down and stops recording.
Snapshot
When the recorder is in the state of recording, double-click the power button, the motor vibrates twice, and the recorder will take a photo.

Red/Blue Indicator Light Working Status

1. Blue light: Flashing Slowly – In Charging; Steadily lights – Fully Charged.
2. Red light: Flashing Slowly – Recording; Quick flash – Emergency recording; Steadily lights – Stop recording.

The camera has a built-in G-Sensor. If the G-Sensor is triggered, the camera will record an emergency video and the video file name will be GSR-XXXX. Emergency video recording takes up 30% of the memory card space. When videos exceed 30%, the recorder will automatically delete the oldest recorded file.

Low Battery Mode
When the battery of the recorder is low, the red/blue indicator light flashes three times, and then the recorder shuts down and stops recording.

Charging Mode

1. The blue indicator light flashes slowly, and the recorder is charging; the blue indicator light is on, and the recorder is fully charged. The recorder charger should use a 5V/2A and above charger to charge the recorder. Chargers with fast charging functions are not recommended to charge the recorder.
2. The recorder can be connected to a computer. The recorder will start charging when connected. After inserting the memory card, it can be used as a U disk, and the video files in the memory card can be browsed directly on the computer.
3. When plugging in the charger to charge, the recorder will record while charging. If you don’t want to record when charging, you can long press the power button. The recorder will be turned off, only charging the recorder, not recording. At this time, the indicator lights of the recorder are all off.

Turn on/off WiFi

1. When the recorder is not connected to an external power supply, the WiFi function is turned off. If you want to connect to WiFi, you need to wait until the recorder is turned on. Short press the power button once, and the blue indicator light will always be on, and the device’s WiFi will be turned on. After the WiFi is turned on, if you want to turn off the WiFi, just press the power button once. After the blue light goes out, the WiFi is turned off.
2. When the recorder is connected to the external power supply, WiFi is turned on by default. There is no need to manually turn on the recorder’s WiFi.
3. If the recorder is not connected after WiFi is turned on. WiFi will automatically turn off the WiFi function after 3 minutes.

TF Card Slot

1. Insert the TF card into the card slot in the indicated direction until the TF card is fixed in the card slot.
2. When removing the TF card, please gently press the TF card, then take it out after the TF card is ejected.
3. Please take care of the TF card insert direction. If the TF card is inserted reversely, both the camera and the TF card will be damaged.
4. If the TF card is not compatible with the camera, please reinsert another TF card and try again.
5. Please use a high-speed TF card (CLASS 10 above).

WiFi Function Introduction
Supports mobile APP synchronization time; Previews the recording video in real time; plays back and deletes video files on recorder TF card and local video files on the phone; System settings and so on. System settings include loop recording/formatting card/system recovery.
Date and Time Setting
The mobile APP synchronizes the time. First turn on the WiFi of the recorder, after the mobile phone is connected to the camera WiFi successfully, then open the APP on the mobile phone. The time of the phone will be automatically synchronized to the recorder.

2.4G Wired Controller

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the remote control, and then lift off the protective cover.
2. Push the coin cell battery out of the side with a screwdriver or fingernail.
3. Install the new battery into the battery base according to the positive and negative poles. After ensuring that it can be used normally, close the protective cover and screw back the screws.

Mobile Phone APP Installation and Operation Instructions

1. Android phone: Please search for the “Ucam” APP in the mobile app store, and then click to install.

2. Apple phone: Please search the APP “Ucam Dashcam” in the APP Store, and then click to install.

3. The default DVR WiFi name is Vsysto-u5-xxxx.

4. Default WiFi Password: 12345678

5. When the recorder is powered on and WiFi is turned on. Please find the recorder’s WiFi name Vsysto-u5- xxxx in the mobile phone WiFi interface, and click to enter the recorder’s WiFi password 12345678. After the recorder’s WiFi connection is successful, you can go back to the mobile phone desktop and click to open the Ucam APP, as shown in the figure. Please click “PLEASE CONNECT DVR”. After the connection is successful, it will enter the recording interface as shown in the figure. You can use your mobile phone to control your recorder, check the image quality of the video, pause the recording, take a photo, check the date and time of the recording, the watermark of the video, and more.

6. In the APP preview interface, you can click to pause recording, full-screen display and so on (as shown in the figure).

7. Some parameters of the recorder can be modified. The APP setting interface can select the video resolution, loop recording time and so on.

8. Click this icon in the preview interface to browse the video and pictures in the memory card of the recorder (as shown in the figure). Click “EDIT” in the upper right corner to delete and save the video or icon (as shown in the figure).

Troubleshooting

After setting a new password, what should I do if I forgot it?

1. Please press the reset button of the machine with a sharp needle to reset the camera. Then use the initial password 12345678 to connec to WiFi.
2. Or contact customer service to fix firmware.

• The lens is fuzzy and the video is not clear.
• Check the appearance of the lens for dirt and dust.
• The device freezes or does not record.
• Please press the reset button of the machine with a sharp needle to reset the camera.
• The camera can be turned on but doesn’t record.
• Check whether the TF card is normal, format it on the computer, or connected to the device’s WiFi and format it on the APP.

Usage Suggestions

1. Please use a regular 5V 2A charger to charge the device.

2. It is a normal phenomenon that the device is heated in use.

3. Video recorded by this device has Ultra HD 4K resolution.
   It is recommended to use a monitor above 4K to play the video, the effect will be best.

4. This device can record 3 minutes of video at about 570M, and a 64GB card can record about 5 hours.
