i3 INTERNATIONAL B77P T Bar Camera

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing i3 International’s optional T-bar mounting bracket for M77 camera series. B77P mounting plate allows easy and secure installation of the M77 cameras onto most Standard 1” (15/16” face) T-bar drop-ceiling grid system types. B77P T-bar mounting plate takes only a few minutes to attach to the camera and seconds to attach to the T-bar grid. Once the camera is attached to the T-bar grid using B77P mounting plate, the camera can be moved within the length of the T-bar channel for perfect camera angle.

Note: B77P is not compatible with concealed grid, Slimline (9/16” grid) or L-channel drop-ceiling systems. B77P is also not suitable, for aesthetic reasons, for installation with drop-ceiling systems where the ceiling tiles are not flush (even) with the T-bar channel grid. E.g. where tiles hang lower than the T-bar channel grid.

ATTACHING B77P to M77 camera

Pull the camera cable through the round plate opening, as shown in Fig.B. Attach the B77P plate to the back of the M77 camera using the screws provided. Use a Phillips screwdriver (not provided).

T-BAR MOUNTING

1. Secure the anti-drop string around the T-bar grid, as shown in the Diagram A. Hold the M77 camera with the attached B77P mounting plate firmly against the T- bar grid with the mounting ears on a slight angle, as shown

2. Rotate the camera clockwise until the clip engages with the T-bar is secured in place, as shown in the Fig. E.

3. Slide the camera on the T-bar to adjust the camera position as shown in the Fig. F. (Optional).

CAMERA REMOVAL

1. To disengage the B77P mounting plate from the T-bar grid, unclip the anti-drop string.
2. Press the camera upward against the T-bar grid and rotate counter-clockwise to remove, as shown in Fig G.
