Wingman XE 2 Converter
- Each Wingman XE 2 can only connect to a single controller device. Wingman XE 2 supports most of the accessories that are compatible with original factory specifications. To expand the number of supported accessories, firmware will be updated irregularly.

This product offers both standard and tournament firmware versions for players

Configuration Store
If you want to store multiple configuration data, please download the software
from our official website first. Then, follow the steps below to save the
configuration values on your computer.

Step 1.
Open “User Profile Settings Software”.
Step 2.
While inserting the Wingman XE 2 into the computer, press the buttons on both
sides of the converter. Continue pressing until the text in the software
window turns black.
Step 3.
Export File From Device: read data from the converter into the computer.
Step 4.
Import File To Device: loads the config file into the converter.
Select the desired file, and when “Import file succeeded” appears, it
indicates a successful import.

Connecting to the Device

Connects to Console
Insert Wingman XE 2 into the PS4 console USB port. Slow blinking of the Blue LED indicates that the connection to the console is successful. -
Connects to Wired Controller
Connect the wired controller or game pad to Wingman XE 2 through the USB port. -
Connects to Wireless Controller
(1) PS5 / PS4 / PS3 :
Connecting the controller and the Wingman XE 2, using a USB cable for the first time. Remove the USB cable after the Blue indicator is on.
(2) Xbox 360
Simply connect the X360 wireless receiver to the Wingman XE 2 through the USB port. The Blue indicator means they are connected.
(3) Xbox Elite 2/Xbox One/XSX|S/ Switch Pro
Connect the Xbox One wireless controller (Bluetooth model) or the Xbox One Elite Series 2 to the Wingman XE 2 and the controller will be ready for use. When connecting, hold the LED buttons at the two sides of the Wingman XE 2 for 1 second to enter wireless connection mode. Then press the Pair button on the wireless controller to begin pairing. Fast blinking of Blue LED indicates that pairing is in progress.
SWITCH
On Switch, go to System Settings Controllers and Sensors, and turn ON Pro
Controller Wired Communication.
Connection Pairing Supplementary Instructions
-
Holding the LED buttons on the two sides of the Wingman XE 2 for 1 second will activate wireless connection pairing mode. The Wingman XE 2 will engage in pairing with surrounding Bluetooth devices. The pairing mode will end if:
A. The connection pairing with the wireless controller is successful.
B. The connection pairing is unsuccessful after 1 minute.
C. The LED buttons are held for 1 second. -
Wireless connection records between an Xbox One wireless controller (with Bluetooth function)/Xbox One Series 2 and the Wingman XE 2 will be erased if a wired connection is used. Wireless connection re-pairing will be required if wireless connection is used.

If Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller is used, please turn off controller profile settings to prevent interference with Wingman XE 2’s Turbo or Remap settings. As Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller is incapable of turning off profile settings, using Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller might result in Remap function overlapping.
Touch Pad Simulation Function
Using the Xbox 360 controller:
BACK + R Stick can simulate the PS4’s Touchpad button.
BACK + START can simulate the PS4’s SHARE button.
Using the Xbox One controller:
VIEW + R Stick can simulate the PS4’s Touchpad button.
VIEW + MENU can simulate the PS4’s SHARE button.
Turbo Function Settings
The following instructions are based on the Xbox One controller. For those using other controllers, please refer to the Corresponding Buttons List.
Turbo Function Settings
Buttons that can be set as Turbo function buttons include: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB,
LT, RT, LSB, RSB 10 (hereinafter referred to as FK)
Step 1. Enter setting mode: Press VIEW + Xbox Guide, the RED LED of the
Wingman XE 2 will be permanently on.
Step 2. Choosing a FK button: (e.g. Setting A as turbo function) Hold
VIEW, then press A
Step 3. Completing Setting Mode: Release all buttons, then press MENU to
save settings.
Step 4. Exit setting mode: Press Xbox Guide, the BLUE LED of the Wingman
XE 2 will be permanently on.
Cancelling Turbo Function
Step 1. Enter setting mode: Press VIEW + Xbox Guide, the RED LED of the
Wingman XE 2 will be permanently on.
Step 2. Erasing all Turbo function buttons Press VIEW + MENU
Step 3. Exit setting mode: Press Xbox Guide, the BLUE LED of the Wingman
XE 2 will be permanently on.
Turbo Frequency Setting
The following instructions are based on the Xbox One controller.
For those using other controllers, please refer to the Corresponding Buttons
List.
Step 1. Enter the setup mode
Press VIEW + Xbox Guide, the RED LED of the Wingman XE 2 will be permanently
on.
Step 2. Turbo Frequency Setting
The Up button increases frequency while the Down button decreases it.
To increase frequency: press both VIEW and the Up buttons, and the indicator
will fiash faster.
To decrease frequency: press both VIEW and Down buttons, then the indicator
will ash slower.
Step 3. Save
Press MENU to save your settings.
Step 4. Exit
Press the Xbox Guide button to leave Turbo setup mode. The RED LED indicator
will then turned off.
Remap Settings
The following instructions are based on the Xbox One controller.
For those using other controllers, please refer to the Corresponding Buttons
List.
Button Remap Settings
Buttons that can be Remap include: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, LSB, RSB 10
(hereinafter referred to as FK)
Step 1. Enter setting mode: Press MENU + Xbox Guide, the RED LED of the
Wingman XE 2 will be permanently on.
Step 2. Choosing a FK button: (e.g. Setting X as A+B) Press X
Step 3. Choosing button to be set: Hold VIEW, then press A + B.
Step 4. Completing setting mode: Release all buttons, then press MENU to
save settings.
Step 5. Exit setting mode: Press Xbox Guide, the BLUE LED of the Wingman
XE 2 will be permanently on.
Cancelling Button Remap Settings
Step 1. Enter setting mode: Press MENU + Xbox Guide, the RED LED of the
Wingman XE 2 will be permanently on.
Step 2. Erasing all settings for Button Remap Settings. Press VIEW +
MENU.
Step 3. Exit setting mode: Press Xbox Guide, the BLUE LED of the Wingman
XE 2 will be permanently on.
Controller Supplemental Instructions
Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Pairing
First, pair the Joy-Con(L):

Long-press Wingman XE 2’s LED buttons (rapidly flashing LEDs), then press Joy-Con(L)’s SYNC button.

Wingman XE 2 will display steady blue light for successful pairing.
Next, pair the Joy-Con(R): -
First, disconnect Wingman XE 2 from Joy-Con(L) by pressing Wingman XE 2’s LED buttons (Wingman XE 2 shows flashing blue lights).

Long-press Wingman XE 2’s LED buttons (rapidly flashing LEDs), then press Joy-Con(R)’s SYNC button.
Finally, individually wake up Joy-Con(L) and (R): -
Disconnect Wingman XE 2 from Joy-Con(R) by pressing Wingman XE 2’s LED buttons (Wingman XE 2 shows flashing blue lights).

“Individually” press any button on Joy-Con (L) and (R) to wake them up.
*If reconnection fails, press Joy-Con’s SYNC button to force sleep before retrying step 6.
L-Stick and R-Stick Center Calibration: -
Hold + button and press D-pad’s L key twice for vibration feedback, indicating L/R Stick calibration.
Joy-Con Motion Control Manual Switching: -
To switch to Joy-Con(L) motion control, hold Home button and press L3 button twice for vibration feedback.

To switch to Joy-Con(R) motion control, hold Capture button and press R3 button twice for vibration feedback.

Table Description
- The default mode, “Pass mode“, which is plug-and-play, does not require the “Dedicated Controller” option to be enabled. You can play directly and use the TOUCH SLIDER functionality in all language versions and any game. If players want to use the “Dedicated Controller” option within the game, you need to input the following command on the controller to switch to “Original mode” to receive sliding inputs in the manufacturer’s default native signal format.

This mode is the manufacturer’s default mode, where the controller directly outputs signals. You need to enable the “Dedicated Controller” option within the game to handle the manufacturer’s default special signals.| 1. - When using the Wingman XE 2, it allows for stable functionality of the controller. Without using the Wingman XE 2, there may be issues with connectivity.
Signal Switching for PEGAGAME Controllers on Steam

When connecting a PEGAGAME controller to Wingman XE 2, please follow these steps on Steam: Go to Steam → Library → [Game Name] (right-click) → Properties → Controller → nd Override → “Enable Steam Input” and then enter the game.

Please note that the default setting is for the Wingman XE 2 signal (with the keyboard layout displayed in the bottom right corner of the game UI).
• To switch to the PlayStation controller: press “Home“ + “Down’s
• To switch to the Nintendo Switch controller: press “Home“ + “Up“. -
Players can switch to their preferred controller system. If changes are made, it is recommended to re-adjust the key configurations within the in-game settings to avoid incorrect key layouts while playing music charts.
Q &A
Q1. Why does it take several attempts to establish a normal connection?
A1. When connecting the controller and Wingman XE 2, they require time to switch output modes. It is normal for there to be flickering and several restarts before a stable connection is established.
Q2. Why does it continue to flicker after connecting and still not work?
A2. If this occurs, please try reconnecting the device. If the issue persists after multiple attempts, consider replacing the OTG cable, USB Hub/Dock, or connecting charger.
Q3. I still can't use it.
