Before Operation
Fill The Bottle
Disconnect the bottle via the quick disconnect fitting. Lift the bottle up off
of the base. Fill with water and/or cleaning/disinfecting solution.Once
filled, replace the cap with the quick disconnect fitting and return the bottle
to the base.
Re-connect the quick disconnect fitting.
Turn the power switch to the ON position. You will hear the pump begin to run,
as the pump pressure builds up and fills the hose, it will stop.
The pump will run when the trigger on the gun is pulled and stops when the
trigger is released.
Turn the unit OFF when not in use to save the battery’s charge for the next
use.
Storage
Empty the unit at the end of each job, and make sure the bottle is cleaned out
thoroughly. It is important that the bottle and pump are clear of any chemical
solution for any period of time that the Cordless Sprayer is idle. This is
necessary, since some solutions contain d’Limonene or a caustic material,
which tends to deteriorate the pump.
In other cases, some diluted solutions tend to thicken when sitting for a
period of time and may cause an obstruction.
If storing in freezing conditions, please make sure that the unit contains no
water, including in the pump, internal lines, and re-coil hose. Using solvents
and degreaser will void warranty. However, if using, rinse with fresh water
after each use.
Charge the battery daily.
Frequently Asked Questions
PUMP:
Can the pump pressure be adjusted?
The pump pressure is pre-set and not adjustable, however changing the jet size on the lance can accomplish a lower output of fluid. It takes only a few minutes to do this.
The pump turns on and then immediately stops, is this normal?
The pump has a built in pressure switch that senses a stoppage of flow and will shut the pump down. As soon as the trigger of the gun is engaged, the pump will sense pressure release and instantly turn back on.
The pump is still not on.
A – The easiest thing to check is the jet. Take off the jet and make sure it
is clear of debris.
B – The other most likely scenario is the spring on the jet check valve is
tight, not allowing fluid to push past. Using an Allen wrench, turn the check
valve counter clockwise 1/2 turn. Repeat this step until desired result of
flowing when trigger is engaged and non dripping after trigger is disengaged.
Is there an easy way to diagnose if the check valve spring is too tight?
This only works if you have the gun connected through a quick disconnect
fitting.
Disconnect gun, hold open end of hose over bucket/ pail and turn pump on. If
fluid is flowing then refer to previous FAQ (The pump is still not on. A/B)
QUICK DISCONNECTS:
My quick disconnects seem tight.
A – Relieve any pressure in line first. This can be accomplished by squeezing
the trigger. If no fluid comes out refer to FAQ (The pump is still not on. A)
B – Examine quick disconnects for loose or missing ball bearings on the female
QD.
Replace quick disconnect.
C – Bearings look good. Clean fittings and light use of lubricant. Too much
grease or lubricant will attract dirt making them more difficult to use.
