Product Information
The Hydraulic Jack is a device used to lift heavy loads and vehicles. The jack is equipped with a piston that is lifted by the up and down movement of the handle, which also lifts the load. It has a release valve that allows for the controlled lowering of the load. The maximum load capacity of the jack should not be exceeded to ensure safety. The product is subject to technical changes and updates, and the most recent version of the manual can be found on the manufacturer’s website.
Product Usage Instructions
-
Determine the weight of the load before putting into operation. Do not exceed the maximum load of the jack.
-
Select the point of action according to the centre of gravity.
If necessary, place the jack on the hard floor. Put a hard board under the jack to avoid wobbling or falling during operation.
Important! The stamp jack must be positioned in such a way that it is not necessary to reach under the vehicle. -
Before operating the lifters, first insert the notched end of the handle into the release valve. Then turn the handle clockwise until the release valve is closed. Do not overtighten the valve.
-
Insert the operating handle into the shaft. The piston is lifted steadily by the up and down movement of the handle, which also lifts the load. The piston stops rising when the required height is reached.
-
Lift the load to the desired height and secure it with support blocks.
-
You can then lower and remove the hydraulic jack.
-
Lower the stamp by turning the release valve with the notched end counter clockwise. Release it slowly when a load is applied or an accident may occur.
-
If more than one jack is used at the same time, it is important to operate the different jacks at the same speed to ensure that the desired height cannot be achieved.
-
Avoid violent shocks while operating.
-
Operate the jack in accordance with the instructions and indications given in the manual. If the jack shows problems, it should not be used. No responsibility will be accepted for damage caused by improper use.
Read and follow the operating instructions and safety information before using
for the first time.

Safety instructions/warnings
The owner and/or user must have read and understood the instructions for use of the device before operating it. Instructed personnel should be careful, competent, trained, and qualified in the safe han-dling of the equipment used when working on engines and their components. Warnings should be read and understood.
- Before putting the device into operation, check it for completeness, functionality, and tightness!
- This device is not intended for use by persons (or children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or persons without appropriate experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been previously instructed in the use of the device.
- Never put a defective or non-functional device into operation! Contact the manufacturer or have the device checked and repaired by a qualified mechanic, if necessary.
- Always work with care and the necessary caution.
- Never use excessive force.
- Only use the hydraulic jack as a lifting device. Never move the vehicle with the jack.
- After lifting, immediately place support blocks under the vehicle.
- Do not overload the jack, always comply with the specified maximum lifting capacity.
- Lift the vehicle only at the lifting points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
- Only use the jack on a horizontal, solid, and load-bearing underground.
- Always apply the hand brake of the vehicle to be lifted. Set the wheels straight ahead and secure them with wheel chocks.
- Never get into or under the vehicle if it is only held by the jack.
- Do not wear loose hanging clothes or loose jewellery when working with the jack, they could get into the moving parts and cause injury.
- Only use the jack to lift your vehicle. Never lift persons with it.
- Do not use the jack if there are people in the vehicle or if people are leaning against the vehicle.
- Do not use the jack when it is freezing or raining.
- Do not leave the jack and the vehicle to be lifted out of sight during use.
- Always keep the jack clean especially the moving parts.
- Never change the pressure of the relief valve set in the factory.
- Only use a suitable hydraulic oil for refilling.
- Never let children or other persons near the jack.
- When lowering the jack, always make sure that there are no people, animals, or objects under the vehicle.
- Always work with the jack in a well-lit environment.
- Never expose the jack to spray water or high humidity.
- Only store packaging parts (foil, plastic bags, polystyrene etc.) in places that are not accessible to children, especially babies, as packaging parts often contain unrecognisable dangers (e.g., danger of suffocation).
Intended use
- The piston jack is suitable for lifting and lowering loads (vehicles) up to a maximum weight (see below).
- The jack is not suitable for holding loads.
Operation
- Determine the weight of the load before putting into operation. Do not exceed the maximum load of the jack.
- Select the point of action according to the centre of gravity. If necessary, place the jack on the hard floor. Put a hard board under the jack to avoid wobbling or falling during operation. Important! The stamp jack must be positioned in such a way that it is not necessary to reach under the vehicle.
- Before operating the lifters, first insert the notched end of the handle into the release valve. Then turn the handle clockwise until the release valve is closed. Do not overtighten the valve.
- Insert the operating handle into the shaft. The piston is lifted steadily by the up and down move-ment of the handle, which also lifts the load. The piston stops rising when the required height is reached.
- Lift the load to the desired height and secure it with support blocks.
- You can then lower and remove the hydraulic jack.
- Lower the stamp by turning the release valve with the notched end counter clockwise. Release it slowly when a load is applied or an accident may occur.
- If more than one jack is used at the same time, it is important to operate the different jacks at the same speed and with the same load. Otherwise, there is a risk that the whole system crashes.
- The conditions of use for this jack are as follows:
- At temperatures from –5 to +45 ℃ lubricating oil should be used.
- At temperatures of –5 to –25 ℃ synthetic spindle oil should be applied.
- The appropriate amount of oil should be maintained, otherwise the specified lifting height cannot be achieved.
- Avoid violent shocks while operating.
- Operate the jack in accordance with the instructions and indications given in the manual. If the jack shows problems, it should not be used. No responsibility will be accepted for damage caused by improper use.
Troubleshooting table
Problem | Possible cause | Possible solution |
---|---|---|
Jack does not lift | No oil | Fill up with oil. |
Lowering valve not closed | Close lowering valve. | |
Jack lifts the load only partially | Oil level too low | Fill oil through |
filling hole into re- serve tank.
Leaking valve| Find and replace leaking valve.
It lifts but does not stop| Worn out or defective seals| Replace seals.
Stamp jack no longer lowers| Valve clogged; oil probably con- tains dirt or
other foreign objects.| Move load, replace contaminated oil.
Poor lifting| Contaminated oil| Replace hydraulic oil.
Air in hydraulic system| Vent hydraulic system.
Poor pumping| Oil seal of pump worn out or de- fective| Replace oil seal.
Hydraulic oil leaks| Too much hydraulic oil in cylinder| Remove excess
hydraulic oil from cylinder.
Pump mechanism works only partially| Too much hydraulic oil in cylinder|
Remove excess hydraulic oil from cylinder.
Air in hydraulic system| Vent hydraulic system.
Venting
- Open the drain valve and remove the oil filler plug (1; 2 = max. oil level).
- Now operate the pump a few times to press the air out of the system.
- Close the drain valve and replace the filler plug. Now the jack must function easily and correctly again. If not, re-peat the procedure again.
Disposal
- If you wish to dispose of this device, please contact the distributor, your local dealer or a local recycler.
- Never take the device to a municipal collection point!
- Never dispose of the device with normal household waste! Thus, you will make an important contribution to protecting the environment.
