Description: The Smart Lock is a device that allows you to lock and unlock your door using the KK Home App on your smartphone. It offers various features such as password generation, fingerprint recognition (optional), auto-lock, door sensor calibration, duress warning, one-touch locking, and private mode.

Product Usage Instructions

1. How to Register:
   • Download the KK Home App from Google Play or App Store.
   • Tap on “Sign Up” to create an account.
   • Fill out the required information and tap “Get Code” to receive a verification code via email.
   • Enter the verification code and tap “Create” to complete the registration process.
2. Add Device:
   • Click on “Add device” or the “+” icon.
   • Select the preferred method to add a device:
   • Option 1: Search for nearby devices automatically.
   • Option 2: Scan the QR code or enter the ESN manually.
3. Connecting Your Lock:
   • Click on your device from the list to start connecting.
   • If you have changed the default master code on the lock, enter your new master code.
   • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is on the 2.4GHz frequency. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list or tap the refresh button to search for it.
   • Once the Wi-Fi connection is successful, name your lock and complete the setup.
4. Lock Page Overview:
   • Click on the lock icon to unlock or lock the door.
   • Check unlock, lock, and alert records in the “Activities” section.
   • Generate four types of passwords and manage them in the “Password” section.
   • Set up fingerprints (optional, applicable to products with fingerprints) and manage them in the “Fingerprint” section.
   • Access lock basic information and settings in the “Settings” section.
5. Password Management:
   • A total of 100 passwords can be set up and stored.
   • There are four types of passwords:
   1. Permanent Password:
   • Enter a 4-10 digit password.
   • Click on “Create” to save the permanent password.
   2. Scheduled Password:
   • Enter a 4-10 digit password.
   • Set up the valid time and repeat days.
   • Click on “Create” to save the scheduled password.
   3. Temporary Password:
   • Enter a 4-10 digit password.
   • Set up the start date and end date.
   • Click on “Create” to save the temporary password.
   4. One-time Password:
   • Enter a 4-10 digit password.
   • This password can be used only once and will be deleted automatically.
6. Fingerprint Setup (Optional):
   • Applicable only to products with fingerprint recognition.
   • Follow the instructions provided in the app to set up fingerprints.
7. Auto-lock:
   • Enable auto-lock to automatically lock the door after a specified time (default is 30 seconds).
   • Adjust the auto-lock time between 10 seconds and 3 minutes.
8. Door Sensor Calibration:
   • Follow the steps below to calibrate the door sensor:
   1. Open the door and wait for 6 seconds, then tap on “Next”.
   2. Close the door and wait for 6 seconds, then tap on “Next”.
   3. Open the door and wait for 6 seconds, then tap on “Next”.
   4. Extend the latch, close the door, wait for 6 seconds, then tap on “Next”.
   • Note:
   1. The door sensor should be mounted within 1” (25mm) from the edge of the door and within 1” (25mm) from the top of the interior assembly.
   2. Stay for 6 seconds before tapping on “Next” in each step.
   3. Ensure there are no magnets near the door sensor.
9. Duress Warning:
   • To send a help message to the pre-set email ID, enter “911” before a password.
10. One-Touch Locking:
    • Press and hold any button for 2 seconds to manually lock the door from the outside.
11. Private Mode:
    • To activate private mode, push and hold the multi-function button on the inside panel for 3 seconds.
    • Private mode disables all user PIN codes.

The KK Home App is free to download. All pictures in this manual are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary due to application upgrade.

HOW TO REGISTER

1. Download“KK Home” App in Google Play or App Store.
2. Tap on Sign Up to get started.
3. Fill out the information and tap “Get Code”.The email inbox you registered will be sent a verification code. Put the code you received, tap on“Create” to complete.

ADD DEVICE

1. Click on “Add device” or “+”

2. Add device by searching nearby devices or scanning QR code

3. Option 1, search devices automatically

4. Option 2, scan QR code or enter ESN manually

CONNECTING YOUR LOCK

3. Click on your device to start connecting
   If you have changed the default master code on the lock, please enter your new master code.

4. It only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
   Please find your Wi-Fi network in the list, if it’s unable to search, please tap the refresh button .
   Wi-Fi connection successfully, name your lock and complete.

LOCK PAGE OVERVIEW

Click on the icon to unlock or lock.

PASSWORD

Permanent password
Step 1 ：Enter a 4-10 digit password
Step 2： Click on “Create”

Scheduled password
Step 1: Enter a 4-10 digit password
Step 2: Set up the valid time and repeat days (choose one day or more days)
Step 3 : Click on “Create”

Temporary password
Step 1: Enter a 4-10 digit password
Step 2: Set up the start date and end date
Step 3: Click on “Create”

One-time password
Enter a 4-10 digit password，Can be used one time and be deleted automatically.

FINGERPRINT

(Optional, only applicable to products with fingerprints.)

AUTO-LOCK

Enable auto-lock, the lock will be locked automatically in 30s. The auto-lock time can be set from 10 seconds to 3 minutes.

DOOR SENSOR

Calibrate your door

• Step 1: Open the door, wait for 6s, and tap on “Next”.
• Step 2: Close the door, wait for 6s, and tap on “Next”.
• Step 3: Open the door, wait for 6s, and tap on “Next”.
• Step 4: Extend the latch, close the door, wait for 6s, and tap on “Next”.

Note:

1. Door sensor should be mounted within 1”(25mm) from the edge of your door, within 1”(25mm) from the top of the interior assembly.
2. Open your door more than 45° in step 1 and 3.
3. Stay for 6s before tapping on “Next” in each step.
4.  There should be no magnets near the door sensor.

DURESS WARNING

Enter 911 before a password, it will send a help message to the email ID you set up previously.

ONE-TOUCH LOCKING

Press and hold any button for 2 seconds to lock manually from the outside.

PRIVATE MODE

• Push and hold the multi-function button on the inside panel for 3 seconds to activate private mode. This will disable all user PIN codes.
• Private mode will be disabled automatically after the lock is unlocked using the thumb turn or master PIN code.

SHARE ACCESS

1. Add user

2. Choose the device you want to share

3. Manage access

4. Choose the method that you would like to share

5. Scan the QR code to get the 5 access to manage the lock
