BRExhaust 106-0621 Direct Fit Exhaust Kit
Product Information
The product is an exhaust system, designed to replace the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) exhaust system in a vehicle. It comes with a bill of materials consisting of the following parts:
- Item 1: Part No. 169526
- Item 2: Part No. 168990
- Item 3: Part No. 167860
- Item 4: Part No. 169527
- Item 5: Part No. 168989
The exhaust system should be installed by a professional for optimal performance and safety.
Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Before starting the installation, read all instructions carefully. Disconnect the vehicle’s battery to prevent electrical accidents and reset the computer if applicable. Remove the existing exhaust system, only removing the parts that will be replaced. Clean the existing flange using a wire brush to ensure proper sealing.
Step 2: Attach Item 2 to the existing isolator and exhaust using Item 1. Note that nuts and bolts are not included.
Step 3: Connect Item 5 to the existing isolator and Item 2 using Items 3 and 4.
Step 4: Connect the slip fit on Item 2 with the provided clamp.
Step 5: Make sure that the new exhaust is not in contact with any part of the underbody of the vehicle or drivetrain.
Step 6: Tighten all clamps starting from the rear of the vehicle. Do not exceed 30 ft-lb when tightening the clamp. After driving 50 miles, check all clamps and retighten if necessary.
Warning: When working on or around the vehicle, exercise caution. Allow the vehicle’s exhaust system to cool before removal to avoid severe burns from high exhaust temperatures. If working without a lift, consult the vehicle manual for correct lifting specifications. Always wear safety glasses and ensure a safe work area. Failure to follow safety measures can result in serious injury or death.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1:
- (Carefully read all instructions before installation) Disconnect the vehicle’s battery before removal of the OEM exhaust system. This will prevent electrical accidents and will reset the computer if it applies to the vehicle. Remove the existing exhaust system from the vehicle. Only remove parts that will be replaced. Clean the existing flange with a wire brush to ensure proper sealing.
STEP 2:
- Attach item 2 to the existing isolator and exhaust with item 1 (nuts and bolts not included)
STEP 3:
- Connect item 5 to the existing isolator and item 2 with items 3 and 4
STEP 4:
- Connect slip fit on item 2 with clamp provided
STEP 5:
- Ensure new exhaust is not contacting any portion of the underbody of the vehicle or drivetrain.
STEP 6:
- Tighten all clamps starting from the rear of the vehicle. (DO NOT EXCEED 30FT-LB WHEN TIGHTENING THE CLAMP AND CHECK ALL CLAMPS AFTER 50 MILES. RETIGHTEN IF NECESSARY)
