Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the vehicle’s electrical system is turned off before starting the installation process.
- Locate the license plate area on your vehicle.
- Remove the existing license plate light fixture, if applicable, by unscrewing or unclipping it.
- Take the Boost Bar License Plate Light and connect the Input Pigtail to its designated connector.
- Identify the power source for the license plate light. This can be done by using a multimeter or consulting the vehicle’s wiring diagram.
- Using the Double Wire T-Tap and the provided Needlenose Pliers, tap into the power source wire by inserting it into the T-Tap and crimping it securely.
- Connect the other end of the Input Pigtail to the T-Tap, ensuring a secure connection.
- Test the installation by turning on the vehicle’s electrical system and checking if the Boost Bar License Plate Light illuminates properly.
- If the light does not function correctly, double-check all connections and consult a professional if necessary.
- Once the light is working as expected, secure the Boost Bar License Plate Light in place using the appropriate mounting method (screws, clips, etc.)
- Ensure that the light is properly aligned with the license plate area and adjust if necessary.
- Recheck all connections and ensure that no wires are exposed or pose a safety hazard.
- Turn on the vehicle’s electrical system and confirm that the Boost Bar License Plate Light continues to function properly.
