The product is an industrial fan heater. The product is intended to be used as a space heater. Do not use this appliance to dry or heat clothing, shoes, pipes or any other items.

This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use.

Handling

• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.

Operating environment

• Moisture and dust might result in electric shock. Do not use in bathrooms or similar environments. Do not use in dusty environments.
• Unstable and soft surfaces can cause the appliance to fall down or fall over and result in fire. Always place the appliance on stable and sturdy surfaces.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.

Operation

• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• The grille heats up during operation. Do not touch the grille to prevent burns.
• Keep mains cable and appliances away from heated surfaces.
• Do not insert objects into openings, as it might cause an electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the product.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and pro-tect it from any accidental use. DO NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
  • is visibly damaged,
  • is no longer working properly,
  • has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
  • has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

Mains cable
Do not modify or repair mains supply components including mains plugs, mains cables, and power supplies. Do not use damaged components. Risk of death by electric shock!

• Only connect the mains plug to a mains outlet protected by a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it from the mains socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an extended period of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under mechanical stress.
• Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or cold.
• Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise, the mains cable may be damaged. A dam-aged mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged.
  • First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket.
  • Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a workshop commissioned by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person, so as to prevent any danger.
• Ensure that cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.

Electrical safety

• Extension cords can overheat and catch fire. Do not use extension cords.
• Do not put stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance. The power cord might break and result in an electric shock.

Maintenance

• Do not open the housing.
• Do not immerse in water.

Product overview

Setting up

1. Place heater onto its feet on a flat, sturdy and non-flammable surface. Keep a distance of min. 1 m to surrounding objects.
2. Connect the mains plug to a suitable mains socket.
   The heater is ready for operation.

Operation

Operating heater continuously

1. Rotate the fan control dial to the desired position to switch the fan on.
   • The heater starts to operate.
2. Fully rotate the thermostat dial to the marking MAX.
   • The heater operates continuously.

Operating heater at preset temperatures
By setting the thermostat dial you can maintain a desired room temperature. The heater switches off when the set room temperature is reached and switches on again when the temperature falls below the set temperature.

1. Rotate the fan control dial to the desired position to switch the fan on.
   The heater starts to operate.

2. Fully rotate the thermostat dial to the marking MAX.

3. Wait for the room temperature to reach the desired temperature.

4. Slowly rotate the thermostat dial towards the marking MIN until you hear a ‘click’ sound.
   You have set the desired room temperature.

After using

1. Rotate the fan control dial to the position 0 to switch the heater off.
2. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
3. Let the heater cool down to room temperature before moving, storing or cleaning.

Protections

1. Resetting the overheat protection
   The overheat protection switches the heater off automatically if a certain temperature is ex-ceeded.
   To reset the overheat protection:

2. Rotate the fan control dial to the position 0.

3. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

4. Let the heater cool down to room temperature (approx. 10 min.).

5. Check if there are obvious blockages that caused the heater to overheat. Remove them.

6. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket.

7. Restart the heater.

8. Resetting the tip-over protection
   The tip-over protection switches off the heating element if the heater falls over. The fan keeps running and does not stop.

9. If the heater falls over, place the heater back onto its feet to switch the heating element on again.

Cleaning and care

Important:

• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
• Do not immerse the product in water.

1. Disconnect the product from the power supply.
2. Let the product cool down to ambient temperature.
3. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
4. (If necessary) use low-pressure compressed air to remove dust from the inside of the heater and the grills.

Disposal

This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life. Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste.
