Description of symbols
Intended use
This appliance is designed to vacuum up dry and liquid substances using a suitable filter. It must not be used to vacuum up hazardous, toxic, combustible or explosive substances. This appliance is designed for use in private premises. Commercial use is not permitted. This product is only authorized for use in dry rooms or in protected areas outdoors. For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read through these original operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. General safety information
- Observe all safety information, instructions, drawings, and specifications that are supplied with this appli-ance. Failure to do so may cause fire and/or injury.
- Do not allow people who have not read or understood these original operating instructions to use the product.
- Keep these original operating instructions in a safe place so that you can refer to them at any time.
- Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may damage the product.
- Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.
- Pay attention to all additional safety information in the individual sections of these original operating instructions.
- If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unauthorized use. The safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
- Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or handle the product, or if you have concerns about safety.
- Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a specialist repair center.
- If you have questions that remain unanswered by these original operating instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
- The product must be operated under the supervision of qualified personnel in schools, educational facilities, and hobby and DIY workshops.
- Always observe all relevant national regulations (e.g. occupational safety measures).
General safety warnings for power tools
- Never use the product next to or near flammable liquids or gases, air/gas mixtures (petrol vapors) or flammable solids/dust. Sparks may be generated when the product is used – the risk of fire or explosion!
- Always remove the rechargeable battery before storing the appliance. This prevents you from turning the appliance on by accident.
- Keep power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow people who are unfamiliar with the appliance and/or have not read and understood these original operating instructions to use it. Power tools are very dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
- Service the tool regularly and check for signs of damage, dirt, wear and tear or other issues that may present a hazard. Ensure that damaged devices are repaired by a specialist before use. Poorly maintained tools often lead to accidents.
- Use the tool and its accessories only for the specified purpose and in accordance with these original operating instructions. Also, pay attention to the working conditions and the task that you plan to carry out. Improper use can lead to hazardous situations.
- Only use accessories that are compatible with the slots on the appliance.
- Condensation may form when the product is brought from a cold room into a warm one (e.g. during transportation). This can damage the product! For this reason, allow the product to warm up to room temperature before using it or inserting the battery. This may take several hours.
Safety instructions for battery-operated devices
- Only use batteries that are specifically designed for this appliance. Using other batteries might result in injury and/or fire hazards.
- Observe the safety and handling instructions in the original operating instructions of the battery and its charging device.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the battery. Remove the battery before moving away from the appliance.
Specific safety instructions for wet/dry vacuum cleaner
- The following items must not be vacuumed:
- Burning matches or smoldering ashes and cigarette butts, or other hot or glowing or burning substances and liquids.
- Flammable, combustible or explosive substances, dust, vapors, and liquids.
- Hazardous, solvent-based or corrosive substances, dust, vapors, and liquids.
- Before each use, check that the appropriate filter is inserted correctly.
- Take special care when cleaning stairs. Make sure that the appliance is sufficiently stable and hold it securely if necessary.
- Never point the air outlet at people or animals.
- In blowing mode, never point the air flow at people or animals.
- If liquid escapes from the appliance or enters the motor unit, switch it off immediately and remove the battery.
- Wear personal protective equipment when working, such as safety goggles, a dust mask, and hearing protection.
- The tube must not be stretched beyond its original length, bent excessively or twisted.
- The motor unit must never come into contact with water or high humidity during use or during storage, maintenance and cleaning.

Preparation
Always remove the battery before attempting any installation or cleaning work or changing accessories. Inadvertent operation of the on/off switch (3) may cause injury.
Unpacking the appliance
- Carefully take the appliance out of the packaging.
- Open the two retaining clips (7).
- Remove the motor unit (6) from the vacuum container (8).
- Remove all accessories from the vacuum container (8).
- Put the motor unit (6) back onto the vacuum container (8).
- Close the two retaining clips (7) again.You can insert unwanted nozzles or suction pipes into the accessory holder (1) for storage.
Attaching the castors
- Insert the supplied castors (14) into the corresponding slots underneath the accessories holder (1) on the vacuum container (8).
Inserting the vacuum tube
- If necessary, insert one or both suction pipes (11) onto the long end of the vacuum tube (9).
- Insert the floor nozzle (10) or the crevice nozzle (12) onto the vacuum tube (9) or the suction pipe (11).
- Insert the short end of the vacuum tube (9) into the vacuum tube holder (2) and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
Installing the foam filter
- Open the two retaining clips (7).
- Remove the motor unit (6) from the vacuum container (8).
- Place the foam filter (13) onto the suction basket of the motor unit (6).
- Put the motor unit (6) back onto the vacuum container (8).
- Close the two retaining clips (7) again.
The foam filter should be installed both for wet and dry vacuum cleaning, as it protects the motor from dirt and thus from getting damaged.
Mounting the HEPA filter
- Open the two retaining clips (7).
- Remove the motor unit (6) from the vacuum container (8).
- If necessary, pull the foam filter (13) off the suction basket of the motor unit (6).
- Place the HEPA filter (16) over the suction basket of the motor unit (6) and lock it by turning it clockwise.The lugs of the HEPA filter (16) must engage in the bayonet catch on the motor unit (6).
- Put the motor unit (6) back onto the vacuum container (8).
- Close the two retaining clips (7) again.
Installing the filter bag
- Open the two retaining clips (7).
- Remove the motor unit (6) from the vacuum container (8).
- Place the opening of the filter bag onto the suction opening in the vacuum container (8). The filter bag must be pushed onto the nozzle of the suction opening as far as it will go.
- Put the motor unit (6) back onto the vacuum container (8).
- Close the two retaining clips (7) again.The filter bag must only be installed for dry vacuum cleaning.
Inserting/removing the battery
- Open the cover on top of the battery compartment (3).
- Slide the battery into the battery compartment (3) until it clicks into place.
- Close the cover again.
- To remove the battery, open the cover and press the battery release button.
- Pull the battery out of the battery compartment (3).
Operation
Switching on and off’
- Set the on/off switch (4) to position I to turn on the appliance.
- Set the on/off switch (4) to position 0 to turn off the appliance.
Emptying the vacuum container
- Switch off the appliance.
- Open the two retaining clips (7).
- Remove the motor unit (6) from the vacuum container (8).
- Empty the vacuum container (8).
- Put the motor unit (6) back onto the vacuum container (8).
- Close the two retaining clips (7) again.
Conversion to blowing mode
- Switch off the appliance.
- Turn the connection for the vacuum tube (9) counter-clockwise and pull the vacuum tube out of the vacuum tube holder (2).
- Insert the vacuum tube (9) into the blow connection on the back of the motor unit (6) and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
- During operation, the appliance will blow out of the vacuum tube (9).
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning or servicing the appliance, switch it off and remove the
battery. Under no circumstances should you service any of the components
inside the motor unit (6), therefore never open/dismantle it. Servicing or
repair and any associated opening of the motor unit (6) may only be carried
out by a specialist or a specialist workshop.
Do not allow water or moisture to get inside the motor unit (6). Use a
slightly damp cloth to clean the product. Do not use any aggressive cleaning
agents or chemicals. Improper cleaning agents can cause discoloration on the
plastic surface. Never use scouring agents, alcohol, petrol, spirits or other
similar liquids to clean the product.
Maintenance
- Check the appliance and accessories for signs of wear and tear before and after each use. Never use the appli-ance with worn accessories.
- After each use, check whether the air intake paths are blocked.
- After each use, check whether there are leaks in the air intake paths which may affect performance.
- Replace full filter bags.
Cleaning
- Always empty the vacuum container (8) after use.
- Always clean the product immediately after use to prevent dust and dirt from settling.
- Keep dust and dirt off the safety mechanisms, ventilation slots, and motor housing.
- Thorough cleaning keeps the product in a usable condition and prolongs its lifespan. A good craftsman is careful with his tools!
- Remove dust using a clean long-haired brush. Compressed air (at low pressure) can also be used.
- Use a dry, clean, and lint-free cloth to clean the exterior of the product.
Cleaning the filter
- Remove the foam filter (13) from the suction basket on the motor unit (6).
- Tap the foam filter (13) to remove loose dust.
- If necessary, the foam filter (13) can be cleaned in water.
- After cleaning with water, let the foam filter (13) dry thoroughly before putting it back onto the suction basket on the motor unit (6).
Troubleshooting
- The battery is depleted. Charge the battery using the corresponding charger.
- The battery is not correctly inserted into the battery compartment (3) on the appliance.
- The suction power is very low.
- The battery is almost depleted. Charge the battery using the corresponding charger.
- The motor unit (6) is not placed correctly on the vacuum container (8) and fixed with the retaining clips (7).
- The vacuum container (8) is full. Empty the vacuum container (8).
- The inserted filter inserted is clogged or blocked. Clean the filter.
- The inserted filter bag is full. Replace with a new filter bag.
- Check whether a foreign object is blocking the vacuum tube, the nozzle or the vacuum tube holder (2). Dust comes out of the motor unit (6).
- The filter is not inserted correctly.
- The filter is not inserted or is damaged.
Storage
- Store the appliance in a clean and dry place.
- Observe the storage conditions in the Technical Data section.
Disposal
All electrical and electronic equipment placed on the European market must be labeled with this symbol. This symbol indicates that this device should be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life. All owners of waste equipment are obliged to dispose of waste equipment separately from unsorted municipal waste. Before handing the old device to a collection point, end users are required to separate old batteries which are not enclosed by the old device, as well as lamps that can be removed from the old device without any damage.Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally required to accept waste equipment free of charge. Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
As the end user; you are required by law to return all used batteries (Battery
Directive). They must not be placed in household waste.Batteries/rechargeable
batteries containing hazardous substances are labeled with this symbol to
indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for
heavy metals in batteries are Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, and Pb=Lead (marked on
batteries, e.g., under the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left). Used
batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores or battery
retailers. You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to
environmental protection.
Before disposal, the exposed contacts of batteries must be fully covered with
a piece of adhesive tape to prevent short circuits. Even if batteries are
depleted, the remaining energy may present a hazard in the event of a short
circuit (bursting, severe heating, fire, explosion).
