Product Information

The product is a steamer that can be used to remove wrinkles from clothes and other fabrics. It comes with a water tank that can hold up to 150 ml of untreated tap water. The steamer also comes with different accessories such as a micro-fiber brush support, a micro-fiber brush, and a steam bonnet that can be used to protect the garment from the heated plate. The door hook allows you to hang your garment for steaming, while the fabric brush opens the weaves of the fabrics for better steam penetration.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Press the water tank locker and open the water inlet stopper.
  2. Fill the water tank with a maximum of 150 ml of untreated tap water.
  3. Return the water tank to its place for locking on the appliance. Make sure that the water tank is fully set in place.
  4. Hang your garment on a clothes hanger. Warning: Never steam a garment while it is being worn.
  5. The door hook allows you to hang your garment for steaming.
  6. The fabric brush opens the weaves of the fabrics for better steam penetration. Before removing or attaching the steam cover, unplug your appliance and allow it to cool down for one hour.
  7. The steam bonnet protects the garment from the heated plate. Before removing or attaching the steam bonnet, unplug your appliance and allow it to cool down for one hour.
  8. The micro-fiber brush is composed of a support and a micro-fiber. Wrap the micro-fiber around the support, release steam and softly scrub it with up and down movement on the textile in order to remove impregnated dust. When the micro-fiber is dirty, itcan be cleaned. Before removing or attaching the micro-fiber brush, unplug your appliance and allow it to cool down for one hour. Never use the support without a micro-fiber.
  9. Plug-in the appliance and switch it on.
  10. Wait until the light stops flashing (approximately 15 seconds). When the light is steady, the appliance is ready to use.
  11. Press the steam button with the steam brush facing away from you holding it in a vertical position. At the beginning, wait for a few seconds for the steam to appear.

BEFORE USE

  1. Press the water tank locker.
  2. Remove the water tank.
  3. Open the water inlet stopper.
  4. Fill the water tank with a maximum of 150 ml of untreated tap water (See section “What water to use”).
  5. Close the water inlet stopper
  6. Return the water tank to its place for locking on the appliance. Make sure that the water tank is fully set in place.

ACCESSORIES

  1. The door hook allows you to hang your garment for steaming.

USE

  2. Plug in the appliance. Switch on the appliance.
  3. Wait until the light stops flashing (approximately 15 seconds). When the light is steady the appliance is ready to use.
  4. Press the steam button with the steam brush facing away from you holding it in a vertical position. At the beginning of your steaming session, press the trigger until the steam appears.

AFTER USE

  1. For optimal use, steam your garment from top to bottom.
  2. Warning: Never steam a garment while it is being worn.
  3. Press the On/Off button to switch the appliance off.
  4. Unplug the appliance.

ANTI-CALC

  2. Remove the water tank.
  3. Empty the water tank completely.
  4. Close the water tank inlet stopper. Return the water tank to its place on the appliance, lock it.TEFAL-DT7130E-Garment-Steamer-18
  5. Do this operation in a vented room.
  6. Press the water tank locker. Remove the water tank.
  7. Fill the water tank with 50% water and 50% white vinegar. Do not use other descaling products.
  8. Close the water tank inlet stopper. Return the water tank to its place on the appliance. Make sure the water tank is fully set in place and locked.
  9. Plug in the appliance.
  10. Wait until the light stops flashing When the light is steady the appliance is ready to use.
  11. To release steam, press continuously on the steam button, holding the steamer in a vertical position.
  12. Allow the appliance to run until the water tank has completely emptied.
  13. Press the On/Off button to switch the appliance off.
  14. Unplug the appliance and press the water tank locker.
  15. Fill the water tank with a maximum of 150 ml of untreated tap water.
  16. Return the water tank to its place on the appliance. Make sure the water tank is fully set in place and clicked.
  17. Plug in the appliance.
  18. Switch on the appliance.

CLEANING

  1. To release steam, press continuously on the steam button, holding the steamer in a vertical position.
  2. Allow the appliance to run until the water tank has completely emptied.
  3. Wait an hour for the appliance to completely cool down.
  4. Clean the parts of the appliance with an EN damp cloth.
  5. Never wash or rinse the appliance directly over a sink.
  6. To clean the micro-fiber* remove it from its support. Follow the instruction set on the micro-fiber label to clean it in the correct way.
