Machines without standard neck

  • 1 Tighten the adjustment screw and lock with a nut
  • 2 Screw on the anti-twist device
  • 3 Threading the spring
  • 4 Clamp handle with spring
  • 8 Sheet metal cutting

Machines with standard neck

  • 1 Tighten the adjustment screw and lock it with nut
  • 5 Dismantle the auxiliary handle
  • 6 Screw the anti-twist device to the plate shears
  • 7 Clamp the anti-twist device on the neck of the drill
  • 8 Sheet metal cutting

  • Do not attempt to force the sheet metal shears loose if they are jammed. Switch your drill to counterclockwise rotation and drive out “backward”. If a gap has formed between the shear wheels, adjust with the adjusting screw.
  • A sharp burr may appear on the cutting edge. If possible, wear gloves and deburr the cutting edge.
