Operation

Before first Use
Remove the devices from the packaging. Keep packaging material out of reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!
Sensors – Inserting/replacing the Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartments of the sensors and insert two batteries of the type LR6 (AA) into the compartments, observing correct polarity. The po-larity symbols are shown inside the compartments.
  2. Close the battery compartments again. Replace the batteries if there is no signal. If the wire-less signal is transmitted, the red LED of the sensor will light up every 30 seconds.

RESET Button
The RESET button (1) is also located under the battery compartment lid. In case of failure, to clear all readings, push the button with a spiky object.
Basis – Inserting/Replacing the Button Cells

  1. Pull the battery transportation foil. All segments on the display will light up for 3 seconds and the basis will start searching for the signal of the sensors. Replace the button cells if the readings become weak. For replacing the button cells, open the battery compartment (4) at the rear side and insert two button cells of the type CR2032 with the +pole facing up into the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment with the battery compartment cover.
  2. Pull out the holder (5) for table stand or fasten the basis on a suitable surface by using the magnets (3).

Operation

  1. Place the sensor T1 into the refrigerator and the sensor T2 into the freezer compartment.
  2. Hold the alarm button (h) pressed for 2 seconds. The value for the MAX temperature will start flashing.
  3. Use the button [ + ] or [ – ] to adjust the desired MAX temperature.
  4. Touch the alarm button (h) again. Now the value for the MIN temperature will start flashing.
  5. Use the button [ + ] or [ – ] to adjust the desired MIN temperature.
  6. Touch the alarm button (h) once more to finish the settings.
  7. Repeat the steps 2 – 6 with the alarm button (g) in order to set the MAX and the MIN temperature for the sensor T2.
  • For switching on the alarm, touch the resp. alarm button (h or g) after making all settings. The alarm icon (see red circles) will appear on the display.
  • For switching off the alarm press the resp. button again and the alarm icon will disappear.

Temperature Values on the Display

  • Current Temperature of the sensor T1
  • Adjusted MAX and MIN temperature of the sensor T1
  • Current Temperature of the sensor T2
  • Adjusted MAX and MIN temperatures of the sensor T2
  • If the temperature in the refrigerator or in the freezer compartment is above or below the adjusted values, you will hear a signal sound and the MAX or the MIN value will start flashing. The display will show the exceeded values and the time monitoring in hours (HR) and minutes (M). The max. monitoring time is 199 minutes and 59 seconds (199:59).
  • Should the measured temperature be outside the measuring range, LL (too low) or HH (too high) is displayed.
  • The unit can be reset by removing the batteries from the sensor for a few seconds. Hints
  • Briefly press the button [ – ] to toggle between dis- playing the temperature in the unit °C or °F.
  • If the basis failed to receive transmission from the sensors, position the basis close to the sensors. Hold the button [ + ] for 2 seconds. The RF icon will start flashing. As soon as the transmission is successful, position the basis to the desired place, but make sure it is in the vicinity of the transmission range within 60 meters (free area).

Cleaning and Storing

  • Clean the housing of the device only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth.
  • Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
  • Do not immerse it in liquids of any kind.
  • Store the devices out of reach of children.
