  • If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the batteries.
  • Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, humidity, dirt, extreme temperature, strong light or strong magnetic fields. Do not allow liquids to enter the inside of the housing.
  • Do not disassemble and modify the unit or attempt to repair it yourself. It does not contain parts serviceable by you. In case of questions or problems, turn to our customer service.

OPERATION

Before first Use
Remove the device from the packaging. Keep packaging material out of reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!

Installing/replacing the Batteries

  1. The battery drawer is located at the bottom of the unit. Draw it out straight down.
  2. Insert one battery of the type CR2025 into the battery drawer. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the battery. The polarity is indicated on the unit.
  3. Close the battery compartment with the battery compartment cover. Replace the battery if the display fades.

Operation

  • To turn on the unit press the ON/OFF button on the back side of the unit.
  • The display shows the current temperature. It is designed to operate with a certain response time; it may take a few minutes until the unit reacts to a temperature change. The frost point symbol“ ”will be displayed between +4℃ and +8° C.
  • Briefly press the temperature unit toggle button to toggle between displaying the temperature in the unit °C or °F.

The Holder
The holder is equipped with a magnet and can be folded over to be used either as a hanger or a stand.

Cleaning and Storing
Clean the housing of the device only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning. Do not immerse it in liquids of any kind. The degree of protection is IPX2. Store the device out of reach of children.
