Installation

DURING RECOVERY ALWAYS USE BOTH RECOVERY POINTS
Installation Key Points:

  • Do not tighten bolts until fitting is complete.
  • Due to differences in factory bumpers, nudge bars, and bull bars. Selecting correct shim and bolt configuration is the fitter’s responsibility.
  1. Install the M12 x 100mm bolt, the recovery point and required shim to the chassis. Only tighten enough to support recovery point plate and shim.

  2. Install M16 bolt, M16 X 4mm shim washer and captive nut. Do not completely tighten both bolts to allow for alignment of the other bolts to be installed.

  3. Install the 2x M10 bolts and spacers as shown in the below picture. To make installation easier; install the bolt towards front bumper and then rear bolt.

  4. Install the M12 X 60mm bolt with dimpled washer in the factory tie-down point.

  5. Tighten the 2x M10 bolts to position the recovery bracket, then tighten the M12 x 100mm bolts on both sides to their rated torque. There is no access to these bolts once bash plate is reattached.

  6. Loosen the 2x M10 bolts to allow fitment of the bash plate.

  7. Fit bash plate and tighten all bolts to their specified torque.

Re-Installation

  1. Reconnect the plastic inner guard.
  2. Reattach plastic front lip.
  3. Replace both front wheels.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
