Product Usage Instructions

1. Before installation, switch off the power supply.
2. Run the power supply wires through the junction box in the base of the lamp post.
3. Make sure that the conductors are connected correctly.
4. Dig a hole and place the anchor bolts inside in a triangle position that matches the post. Fill in cement and let it dry.
5. Set the base into position and attach it using screws.
6. To access the bulb, remove the screws, the upper cover, and the protective glass cover.
7. Replace the old bulb with a new one, making sure not to exceed the wattage indicated on the lamp post.
8. Screw the protective glass cover and the upper cover back onto the base.
9. To change the bulb, turn off the lamp post, remove the guard and cover glass, carefully unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one. Screw back the protective glass cover and the upper cover before switching on the lamp.

Note: For electrical safety, it is recommended to seek assistance from an authorized electrician for new installations and extensions to existing systems. Incorrect installation can result in fatal injury and the risk of fire.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• The product is only intended for outdoor use.
• Switch off the power supply before installation.
• Before cleaning, maintenance and/or other work on the product, switch off the power supply by removing the fuse or pulling out the plug.
• Products with transformers must only be used with the original transformer.
• Do not allow children to play with the packaging material or the product.
• These instructions should be enclosed with the product if it is sold or passed on.
• Do not connect the lamp to the mains while it is still in the pack.
• Stop using the product immediately if it gets damaged, especially the power cord, plug and/or lamp socket, and if it is not working properly.
• Repairs must be carried out by an authorised electrician.
• Do not attempt to modify or repair the product. Repairs that are not carried out correctly can result in a risk of serious personal injury and/or death.
• The product’s earth wire (green/yellow) is connected to earth.
• Be careful not to damage the insulation on the wires during installation.
• Make sure that the wires do not come into contact with sharp edges.
• Damaged insulation can result in a risk of electric shock.
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
• The plug, power cord, wires and connections must not be subjected to mechanical stress.
• The bulb gets very hot when the product is switched on. Do not touch the bulb with bare hands. Switch off and allow the product to cool before changing the bulb.
• The lamp must only be used with the upper cover and protective glass cover in place.

• New installations and extensions to existing systems must always be carried out by an authorised electrician.
• If you have the necessary experience and knowledge (otherwise contact an electrician), you can replace power switches and wall sockets, fit plugs, extension cords and light sockets.
• Incorrect installation can result in fatal injury and the risk of fire.

ASSEMBLY

1. Switch off the power supply before installation FIG. 1
2. Run the power supply wires through the junction box in the base of the lamp post.
3. Connect the wires to the terminals as shown. The casing must be connected to earth.
   • Phase conductor (L) – Black or brown
   • Earth conductor ( ) – Yellow/green
   • Neutral conductor (N) – Blue FIG. 2
4. Make sure that the conductors are connected correctly.
5. Dig a hole, put the anchor bolts inside in a triangle position that matches the post, fill in cement. When the cement has dried, set the base into position and attach it FIG. 3 FIG. 4
6. Remove the screws, the upper cover and the protective glass cover FIG. 5
7. Fit a light bulb. The bulb must not exceed the wattage indicated on the lamp post FIG. 6
8. Screw the protective glass cover and the upper cover onto the base. FIG. 7 -8

USE

CHANGING THE BULB

1. Turn the lamp post off.
2. Remove the guard and cover glass.
3. Carefully unscrew the cool light source.
4. Carefully screw the new bulb into the socket.
5. Replace the protective glass cover and the upper cover before switching on the lamp.
