maQuira PERICEM Surgical Cement without Eugenol
INDICATION: It is indicated as periodontal dressing for the protection of sutures of periodontal surgeries.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Pericem is a surgical cement to be used after periodontal surgeries, which offers a safe local protection for surgical wounds, keeping them clean. The cement is produced by the mixture of the components (base paste and accelerator paste) in the moment of use. The mass that is originated is of excellent texture and plasticity after set and has mint flavor. Pericem does not contain eugenol in its composition, assuring that its usage is not irritating to the oral mucosa.
COMPOSITION
- Base Paste: Fatty acids, Natural rosin, Synthetic rosin, Mineral Oil, Thymol, Natural Wax and Mint Flavor.
- Accelerator Paste: Mineral Oil, Vegetal Oil, Zinc Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, Iron Oxide Coloring, Thymol, BHT and Mint Flavor.
VALIDITY:
3 years from manufacture date.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in person with known allergy to thymol.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Dispense equal lengths of the two pastes over a glass plate or mixture pad.
- Mix the two pastes until a uniform pink color is obtained.
- In case a more consistent mixture is needed, a small amount of Zinc Oxide may be added.
- Wait for 2 to 3 minutes and make a roll with the mass.
- Obs: To avoid the adherence of the mass, lubricate the fingers with mineral oil.
- Working time: 30 to 45 seconds.
- Setting time: 2 to 3 minutes.
WARNINGS:
Keep the tubes closed. Exclusive for dentist’s use.
STORAGE:
Keep in room temperature. Keep in the original packaging.
