PRESENTATION

DESCRIPTION
- 5% acid gel is an hydrofluoric acid-based conditioner, with a concentration of 5%, and is often used to attack disilicate lithium-based ceramic glass surfaces. Its appropriate viscosity and the presence of dye allow for safe application, without the danger of flow and better visualization of the region to be conditioned.
INDICATION
- Conditioning of adhesive dental porcelains in the restorative process for ceramic glass.
COMPOSITION
- 5% hydrofluoric acid, thickening agent, dye, and purified water.
MODE OF USE
- To perform internal conditioning of prosthetic parts, follow the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer;
- For lithium disilicate based ceramic glasses: use Acid Gel 5% for 20 seconds;
- For all types of materials it is necessary to use an abundant amount of water to remove the product, since contact between hydrofluoric acid and enameldecalcification can cause bone decalcification.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- Restricted use, for professionals who specialize in dentistry, in accordance with local legislation and with specific training for its handling;
- Rigorously follow the procedures provided in the method for use;
- The use of this product for the conditioning of enamel and dentin is strictly prohibited;
- Use gloves and safety glasses while handling product;
- Do not use the product after it has passed its expiration date;
- Keep out of reach of children.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS
Do not use on patients with sensitivity to the component parts of this
product.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Store in a dry place, protected from heat and humidity in a temperature below
30 °C.
