- Liquid: phosphoric acid 85%, aluminium hydroxide, zinc oxide, disti lled water.
MODE OF USE
Zinc oxide can be used consistently for two different purposes: one for cementation, and one for restoration and lining. The ideal temperature for mixing should be between 21 °C and 32 °C.
- Consistency for Restoration and Lining: The recommended proportion is for one large scoop for 4 drops of liquid. Divide the powder and mix as showed bellow. The mixture will reach a proper consistency for restoration when it becomes a sticky material not sticking in a spatula when touched, in a way that will not breake as a lint.
- Consistency for Cementing: The recommended proportion is for one small scoop to 3 drops of liquid. The consistency of the mixture will be suitable when it is creamy and falls off the spatula in the form of sticky beads, which spread slightly when it reaches the glass plate. This consistency of the mixture sticks easily to the spatula.
- Powder division:
1. Place the powder on the glass plate and divide into four equal parts.
2. Divide one of them, into two of the equal parts.
3. Divide the eight portions into two equal parts.
4. Shake the liquid bottle and drip an appropriate amount of liquid, according to the thickness desired, onto the plate beside one of 1 /16 measures of powder and mix this portion in the liquid for 10 seconds.
5. Add another 1 /16 portion and mix for a further 10 seconds.
6. Add an 1/8 portion and mix for a further 10 seconds.
7. Add more 2 equal parts and mix for 1 0 seconds for each portion.
8. Add the last part and mix for 30 seconds;
9. The ideal mixing time is 1 minute and 30 seconds. The liquid must not be exposed too long; therefore it should be mixed immediately.
