PRESENTATION: 1 Syringe with 2 g and 3 tips.
DESCRIPTION
The hydrogen peroxide or bleaching gel, when in contact with the gum may injure the tissues and cause a lot of discomfort, thus interfering at the end result of the bleaching. MAXDAM prevents this, ensuring a better outcome in the tooth bleaching treatment. It is a gel-based product which acts as a light cure gingival barrier that replaces the rubber dam when the gum isolation is relative. The main purpose of the product is to protect the tissues from the contact of hydrogen peroxide or bleaching gel. It is indicated for the isolation of the gingival sulcus during tooth bleaching procedures in clinics.
INDICATION:
It is intended to protect the gum tissue, replacing the rubber sheet in cases
in which the clinical procedure may cause some discomfort or irritability when
in contact with the used products.
COMPOSITION:
Hema, silica, urethane dimethacrylate monomers, inert filler, pigments, dyes
and photoinitiators.
MODE OF USE
- Verify if the package is sealed. If not, discard it.
- In order to make an adequate isolation, dry the area of gums and teeth which will be protected.
- Use an applicator tip to apply a1 mm layer of gingival barrier on the gums, including the papillae previous-ly dried.
- After application of MaDam apply light cure for 20 to 30 seconds for each group of 3 to 4 teeth.
- Check if the entire gingival surface is protected, and if allgingival barrier was photopolymerized.
- To remove the gingival barrier, just push it with the aid of a blunt instrument so that it comes off easily in whole or in large pieces.
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS
- Restricted use, for professionals who specialize in dentistry, in accordance with local legislation.
- Rigorously follow the procedures provided in the instructions for use.
- Do not use the product on the gums of a patient who has recently undergone any oral surgical procedure or who has any type of gingival irritation.
- In case of allergic reactions suspend the use immediately.
- Dispose of the tip after use.
- Do not use the product after it has passed its expiration date.
- Keep out of reach of children.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
It should not be used in people with reported sensitivity to its components.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Always store the product closed in its original package, at room temperatu- re. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not store it near eugenol.
TRANSPORT CONDITIONS:
- Temperature: 0 to 60 °C.
- Humidity: below 85 UR.
- Lighting: keep the product protected from direct sunlight.
DISPOSAL
Discard the product in accordance with local legislation, assuring its complete disfigurement in order to prevent its reuse and damage to the environment.
