PRESENTATION:
1 bottle of calcium hydroxide P.A. with 10g.
DESCRIPTION:
which consists of 100% pure calcium hydroxide in powder. In endodontic dental offices, it is recommended in several situations, both in cases of vital pulp and necrotic pulp with or without apical periodontitis, as pulp capping material in accidental pulp exposure and pulpotomy. It also promotes periapical repair by the deposition of mineralized tissue.
INDICATION:
The calcium hydroxide P.A. is an intracanal curative material. When stimulated the repairing dentin formation, increasing therefore its thickness and giving more protection to the pulp tissue.
COMPOSITION:
Calcium hydroxide P.A. (99 to 100%).
HOWTOUSE:
Calcium Hydroxide Solution 0.2%: Solubilize the entire contente of the bottle
(1 0 g) in 100 ml of distilled water. Allow to stand for sedimentation and
then use the top solution. This alcaline solution should be used before the
pulp protection and restoration are placed in all cavity types, independently
of the depth.
In endodontics: Mix the calcium hydroxide with the vehicle of your choice
(distilled water, camphorated paramonoclorofenol or others). Fill the entire
canal with the paste.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
Exclusive for dentists.
Do not use in patients with sensitivity
to the product.
Keep out of reach of children.
CONTRAINDICATION:
The calcium hydroxide is contraindicated in patients who have reported sensitivity to the product.
