INTENDED USE

The device is intended for precise trimming and shaping of ladies’ bikini line.
Following these instructions will ensure safe installation and operation of the device.
The device is intended for indoor use and may not be used for professional purposes.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read the entire manual before use.

  2. Following the instructions ensures safe installation and use of the device.

  3. This device is intended for private household use only.
    Do not use for other purposes not in accordance with its intended use.

  4. The appliance is only intended for trimming natural hair. Must only be used on human hair – not on artificial or animal hair. Using the product for purposes other than the intended purpose will invalidate the warranty.

  5. Do not use the device if it is damaged or does not function properly.

  6. Do not use the device if it has previously been dropped or shows visible signs of damage.

  7. The product is not a toy. Make sure that children do not play with the device.

  8. Cleaning and maintenance of the device must not be performed by children without adult supervision.

  9. Warning! When cleaning or operating, do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never keep the device under running water.

  10. Do not submerge the device in water.

  11. Keep the device clean. Clean the device after each use.

  12. Always remove the battery when the device is not in use or before cleaning.

  13. Do not clean with aggressive cleaning agents.

  14. If you have had skin problems before, consult your doctor first.

  15. If any irritation occurs, stop using the device immediately and consult a doctor.

  16. Do not use on irritated skin.

  17. Do not press the device strongly against the skin.

  18. When shaving, do not use any shaving lotions, soap or other similar products.

  19. Do not use attachments other than the one provided.

  20. Do not use the device near heat sources (heaters, fire).

  21. Do not store the device in high temperature or direct sunlight.

  22. Keep the instructions and, if possible, the packaging.

  23. If we pass the device on to a third party, we must pass these operating instructions along with it.

Open the packaging and carefully take the device out. Make sure that the kit is complete and that its components are undamaged. Make sure the plastic parts are not damaged.
If any part is damaged or missing, contact the dealer and do not use the device. Keep the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.

Caution! For the sake of children’s safety, do not leave any packaging materials accessible and unattended (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, Styrofoam etc.). Risk of suffocation!

USE

Inserting and changing batteries
  1. Rotate the rotary ON/OFF switch / battery compartment opening until the arrow symbols on the housing and the head point at each other:
  2. Take off the battery compartment cover by pulling on it.
  3. Remove the spent battery (if present).
  4. Insert a new AA 1.5 V battery in accordance with the drawing on the white part of the battery compartment.Inserting and changing batteries
  5. Slide the battery compartment cover back and rotate it until the arrow points at “0”.
  6. The trimmer is ready to use.

Caution!

  • The device is designed to be used with AA 1,5 V batteries.

  • The batteries are included in the set.

  • When installing a new battery, observe the polarity markings in the battery compartment.

  • Use the same type of batteries as recommended for this device: AA 1.5 V .

  • Do not dispose of used batteries with municipal waste. Put them into special containers for spent batteries.

  • Do not recharge batteries not designed for that purpose (non-rechargeable batteries).

  • Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.

  • Never expose batteries to direct heat sources, such as bright sunlight, heaters or fire.

  • Explosion hazard! Batteries must not be dismantled, put into fire or short-circuited.

  • When the device is not used, always remove the batteries. This will prevent damage to the device in the event that electrolyte leaks from the batteries.

  • Remove spent batteries from the device immediately.

  • Spent batteries may leak, which may damage the device.

  • If you touch acid from a battery, rinse your hands under running water. If any acid gets into your eyes, contact a doctor. The acid contained in the battery may cause irritation or burns.

  • Swallowing a battery may have fatal consequences! Keep batteries away from children and pets. Seek medical assistance immediately if a battery is swallowed.

Trimmer and shaver head installation/removal
  1. Make sure that the device is turned off.

  2. To remove the head, hold it with one hand, hold the device housing with the other hand, then rotate until the symbols on the housing and the head are in the following position:

  4. To install the head, follow the same steps in reverse order. The symbols on the head and the housing must be in the position. Then rotate the parts until the arrow symbol on the housing points at I.

Large and small trimmer attachment installation/ removal

Install the trimmer attachment (3 and 6 mm) on the bikini line trimmer head. It enables adjustment of trimmed hair length.

  1. Put the attachment on the bikini line trimmer head. Make sure that the head blades are on the same side as the teeth in the attachment. Press to tighten.
  2. Pull the attachment gently to remove it.
Turning the device on/off
  1. To turn the device on, rotate the ON/OFF switch / battery compartment opening until the arrow points at I.
  2. To turn the device off, rotate the rotary ON/OFF switch / battery compartment opening until the arrow points at 0.
Operation

Caution! It is not recommended to use the device in the shower, bathing or under running water, or soaking in liquids, even though it is IPX5 rated.

Trimming
For trimming, shaping and cutting bikini line hair use the bikini line trimmer head.

  1. Make sure that the trimmer is turned off. Install the bikini line trimmer head in accordance with the description 7.1 Trimmer and shaver head installation/removal.
  2. If necessary, install the small or large attachment in accordance with the description Small or large trimmer attachment installation/removal.
  3. Turn the trimmer on.
  4. Apply the trimmer to the skin surface. Hold the trimmer at right angles to the skin, press slightly, and gently slide the trimmer in the direction opposite that of hair growth.
  5. Trim and shape hair on the skin surface as needed.
  6. When you have finished trimming, turn off and clean the device.

Shaving:

Use the bikini line shaver head for thorough shaving of the bikini area:

  1. Make sure that the trimmer is turned off. Install the bikini line shaver head in accordance with the description 7.1 Trimmer and shaver head installation/removal.
  2. Turn the device on. Apply the shaver to the skin surface. Hold the shaver at right angles to the skin, press slightly, and gently slide the trimmer in the direction opposite that of hair growth.
  3. When you have finished shaving, turn off and clean the device.

Caution! Do not press too firmly. You may injure skin or damage the device.

CLEANING AND CARE

Basic principles

Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the life span of the device.

Warning! Prior to cleaning the device, turn it off and remove the battery.

Caution! Do not clean the device with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the device.

  • Clean the heads using the included brush or under running water, leave to dry completely.
  • Wash the trimming attachments under running water and wipe dry.
  • For the sake of hygiene, it is recommended that the trimmer be cleaned immediately after use.
  • Wipe the whole device (its housing) with a dry cloth.

REPAIR

The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the device on your own. Always have a specialist perform repairs.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

Keep the device in a dry and well-ventilated place inaccessible to children.
Protect the device against vibration and shock during transport.

DISPOSAL

Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can pose a hazard.
The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Correct disposal of the device:

  1. According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.

  2. Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.

  3. Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a negative impact on the environment and human health.

  4. Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment.

  5. Information on electric and electronic devices collection centres is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.

  6. Worn out and dead batteries must be discarded in specially marked containers, delivered to special waste collection points or to electronic equipment vendors.

This device has been designed, manufactured and marketed in accordance with the requirements of the New Approach Directives. Therefore, the product has been marked with the CE mark and a declaration of conformity has been issued for it, which is made available to market regulators.

  1. The Warrantor of this product grants a 36-month warranty valid from the date of purchase. If any defect is found, a complaint about the product should be lodged at the point of purchase.
  2. A defective/damaged product is a product failing to provide the features described in the User’s Manual due to intrinsic properties of the device.
  3. The Beneficiary under the warranty shall deliver the device to the Customer Service Point at a given store in order to submit a complaint about the equipment. When asserting your rights under warranty, you need to present the proof of purchase (receipt, invoice) together with a description of the device defect in as much detail as possible, in particular of the external manifestations of the defect.
  4. The warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.
  5. The warranty does not cover products from which the tamper-proof seal has been removed, and products to which repairs, alterations or structural modifications have been made or attempted.
  6. The warranty does not cover components subject to natural wear and tear during operation.
  7. It is recommended that the complete product be submitted together with the complaint so as to facilitate service operations.
  8. This warranty for the sold consumer product does not exclude, restrict or suspend any rights of the Buyer related to laws and regulations concerning warranties for defects in sold items pursuant to the provisions of the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws Dz.U.2014.121).
  9. The warranty shall be applicable within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
