1. Intended Use

The Ice Cream Maker can be used by individuals over the age of 8 years and those with limited physical, sensory, or mentalabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge under adult  supervision or guidance.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Always read the instructions before use.
  • Do not cover the device when it is in use or hot.
  • Keep the device away from flammable materials such as curtains or carpeting.
  • Disconnect the device from the power source when not in use or before cleaning, assembling, or disassembling.
  • Be cautious when lifting the driving parts.

3. Assembly

  1. Unpack the device.
  2. Clean the parts that come into contact with food according to the instructions in chapter 8, “Cleaning and Maintenance.”
  3. Place the device on a flat, stable surface that is resistant to low temperatures and water. The bowl will freeze after being removed from the freezer, and frost will appear on the walls.

Operating Instructions

6.1 Before Use

  1. Clean the parts that come into contact with food according to the instructions in chapter 8, “Cleaning and Maintenance.”
  2. Place the device on a flat, stable surface that is resistant to low temperatures and water. The bowl will freeze after being removed from the freezer, and frost will appear on the walls.
  3. Ensure that the electrical requirements listed on the device’srating label and in this manual are met.

6.2 Turning On/Off the Device

  1. To turn on the device, plug it into an electrical outlet and press the on/off switch to the “I” position.
  2. To turn off the device, press the on/off switch to the “O” position and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

Caution: Before plugging the device into an electrical outlet, ensure that the on/off switch is in the “O” position. The device is immediately energized when connected to a power source. Connect the device to a readily accessible socket near the device so that it can be disconnected from the power source immediately in case ofdanger.

6.3 Device Assembly

  1. Insert the mixing blade into the housing.
  2. Place the bowl into the housing and lock it in place.
  3. Pour the mixture into the bowl. Do not exceed the maximum quantity of 0.8 liters of mixture.
  4. Turn on the device and let it run for 20-40 minutes or until the mixture reaches the desired consistency.
  5. To turn off the device, press the on/off switch to the “O” position and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

6.4 Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Turn off and unplug the device.
  2. Remove any remaining mixture from the bowl and clean it with warm, soapy water.
  3. Clean the mixing blade with warm, soapy water.
  4. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in wateror use abrasive cleaners.
  5. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling or storing.

INTENDED USE

The device is intended for making ice cream: milk ice cream and sorbets.
Following the instructions in this manual will ensure safe installation and use of the product. This device is intended for private indoor use only, it may not be used for professional purposes.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. This device may be used by children 8 years of age or older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or insufficient experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised by an adult or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the hazards involved. Children must not clean nor maintain the device unless they are older than 8 and are supervised. Keep the device and its power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
  2. The device may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or by individuals lacking the necessary experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on using the device safely and understand the hazards involved.
  3. Children must not play with the device.
  4. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a qualified individual, so as to avoid hazards or injuries.
  5. WARNING! Risk of injuries as a result of misuse.
  6. When cleaning the parts which come into contact with food, follow the section 8 Cleaning and care.
  7. Always disconnect the device from the power source when you are not using it. Also, disconnect the device prior to cleaning, assembly, and disassembly.
  8. Do not use the device continuously for longer than 30 minutes. After this time, disconnect the device from the power source and wait until the drive part cools down.
  9. Only use the accessories included with the kit.
  10. Read this manual in whole before using the product.
  11. The device is intended for indoor use only.
  12. Do not put any items (spoons, forks) into the bowl when the device is in operation. Risk of device damage.
  13. Observe caution when lifting the drive part. Make sure the device is turned off and the power cord is disconnected from the power source.
  14. The device is not intended for mixing frozen ice cream.
  15. Do not place the device on hot surfaces.
  16. Prior to switching on, place the device on a stable and flat surface resistant to low temperatures and water (the bowl becomes warmer when it is removed from the freezer).
  17. Connect the device to the 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz alternating current mains.
  18. The device must be connected to a power outlet in an easily accessible place, so that the device can be immediately disconnected from the power source in case of a hazard.
  19. Before connecting the device to the mains, always check if the on/off switch is in the “0” position. Similarly, before unplugging the device, the on/off switch should be in “0” position.
  20. Extend the power cord before using the device.
  21. When the device is in operation, do not put your hands or any items (kitchen utensils, tools, etc.) into the mixed ingredients.
  22. Keep your fingers, hair, clothes, and utensils away from the moving (rotating parts of the device.
  23. To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the plug, the power cord, or the device in water or other liquids.
  24. Protect the drive against penetration by water.
  25. Do not hang the power cord against the edge of a table or sink.
  26. Never touch an electric device if it has been immersed in water or water has been spilled on it. Disconnect it from the mains immediately.
  27. Do not touch the device with wet hands.
  28. Operate the device carefully.
  29. Use only the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  30. Do not leave the device unattended when it is on.
  31. Wait until the device cools down before you try to carry it or before cleaning it.
  32. To disconnect the power cord from the power outlet, pull by the plug only.
  33. Do not cover the device and do not use it in the immediate vicinity of flammable materials.
  34. Make sure not to connect too many electrical devices to a single circuit.
  35. Do not clean the device with the use of corrosive cleaning agents.
  36. Do not attempt to open the housing or disassemble any part of the device.
  37. Always ensure proper room ventilation when operating the device.
  38. Do not operate the device if it is malfunctioning or has been dropped.
  39. Use the device only for its intended purpose.
  40. Ensure the power cord is not caught between the base and the closed lid.
  41. Do not cover the device while it is on or still hot. Wait until the device cools down before storing it.
  42. Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable fabrics (curtains, carpets), do not position it next to sources of high temperature: gas heaters, electric cookers.
  43. If you hand this device over to a third party, transfer this user’s manual as well.

Open the packaging and carefully take out the device. Make sure the set is complete and that its components are undamaged. Check that the plastic parts are not broken, and that the power cord is not damaged. If you find that any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the device. Keep the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.
Caution! For the sake of children’s safety, do not leave any packaging materials accessible and unattended (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, styrofoam, etc.). Risk of suffocation!

USE

Before use

  1. Unpack the device.
  2. Clean the parts which come into contact with food in accordance with the section 8 Cleaning and care.
  3. Prior to switching on, place the device on a stable and flat surface resistant to low temperatures and water (the bowl becomes warmer when it is removed from the freezer, and frost forms on the walls).
  4. Make sure the electric mains system is compliant with the requirements on the device rating plate and in this manual.

Switching the device on/off

  1. To switch the device on, connect the plug to a power outlet. Press the on/off switch to the position marked I.
  2. To switch the device off, press the on/off switch to 0, and remove the plug from the power outlet.

Caution:
Prior to plugging in, make sure the on/off switch is set to 0.
The device becomes energized immediately after it is connected to the power outlet.

Caution!
Connect the device to a nearby easily accessible mains socket so that it can be disconnected in the event of an emergency.

Device assembly

  1. Place the attachment for adding liquids on the drive part.
  2. Place the agitator in the device housing. Pay attention to the characteristic notches in the housing and agitator.
  3. Place the drive part with the agitator on the bowl. Pay attention to the shape of the bowl and housing.

Device operation – ice cream making

  1. Place the bowl in the freezer for at least 12 h. The bowl contains some liquid, which will freeze. The bowl should be placed in the freezer evenly on the base. The bowl must not be put at an angle.

  2. Prepare the ice cream mixture. For sample recipes, see the end of chapter 7.

  3. The mixture must be well cooled in the fridge. Do not freeze the ice cream mixture.

  4. Assemble the device in accordance with point 7.3 Device assembly.

  5. Switch on the device, the agitator will start rotating.

  6. Pour the prepared cooled mixture into the bowl through the opening. Do not exceed the mixture maximum quantity, approx. 0.8 l.
    CAUTION! Do not pour the ice cream mixture directly into the bowl, as ice crystals may form on the walls.
    CAUTION! When the bowl is frozen, it changes its shape slightly. The agitator may “swing” when mixing. If necessary, hold the driving part, but make sure it will not stop the agitator. Risk of device damage.

  7. The mixture should be beaten for approx. 5-15 min, until it becomes “fluffy”.

  8. Turn the device off by setting the on/off switch to 0. Disconnect the device from the power source.

  9. Remove the lid.

  10. To obtain “hard ice cream”, put the mixture into the freezer. Control the freezing level from time to time.
    CAUTION! If the agitator becomes jammed, immediately switch off the device.

Ice cream mixture sample recipes
The device will assist you in making any ice cream. Feel free to use the generally available recipes. Some sample recipes are available below.

  • Strawberry ice cream
  • Fresh strawberries / low-sugar strawberry jam – 200 g
  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Cream – 200 ml
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, blend. Whip the cream with the sugar, combine all the ingredients, mix. Work the ready mixture as described in chapter 7.4.
  • Pure ice cream
  • Vanilla extract – 10 g
  • Milk – 250 ml
  • Cream – 150 ml
  • Sugar – 50 g
  • Mix or blend all the ingredients, work the ready mixture as described in chapter 7.4.

CLEANING AND CARE

General rules
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the lifespan of the device.

Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn the device off, disconnect it from the power source, and let it cool down, so as to avoid burns and electric shock.
Caution! Do not clean the device with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive, or disinfecting agents, as they may damage the device surface.
Caution!
Wipe the device with a damp cloth.
Do not use metal, sharp, or rough cleaning accessories, as they may damage the surface of the device!
Do not immerse the device or the power cord in water or other liquids.
Prior to the next use, make sure the device is completely dry.
Protect the device against penetration by water.

Cleaning the device

  • Wash the bowl, agitator, liquid adding attachment by hand with addition of dishwashing liquid. Leave to dry.
  • Wipe the drive part with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.

REPAIR

  • The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the device on your own. Always have a specialist perform repairs.
  • If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a qualified person to avoid hazard.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

  • Clean the device as described.
  • Store the device in a standing position.
  • Always store the product in a dry and well-ventilated room, beyond children’s reach. Protect the device against vibration and shock during transport.

DISPOSAL

  • Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can pose a hazard.
  • The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Correct disposal of the device:

  1. According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.
  2. Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.
  3. Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a negative impact on the environment and human health.
  4. Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment.
  5. Information on electric and electronic devices collection centres is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.

CE DECLARATION

This device has been designed, manufactured and marketed in compliance with the requirements of the New Approach Directives, therefore, the product has been marked with the CE mark, and a declaration of conformity has been issued for it, which is made available to market regulators.

General Terms and Conditions of the Warranty

  1. The Warrantor for this product warrants that within 36 months from the product purchase date, confirmed with a duly completed warranty card, the product shall be, at the discretion of the Warrantor, subject to:
    • a) repairing the product free of charge, subject to the condition that any dismantled, damaged or faulty parts, in order to ensure the Customer’s safety, shall become the Warrantor’s property,
    • b) replacing the product with a new one at the point of purchase, subject to the condition that the damaged or faulty product shall become the Warrantor’s property,
    • c) returning the price of the product to the User, subject to the condition that the damaged or faulty product shall become the Warrantor’s property.
  2. A defective/damaged product is a product failing to provide the features described in the user’s manual due to intrinsic properties of the device.
  3. The Beneficiary under the warranty shall deliver the device to the Customer Service Point at a given store in order to submit a complaint about the equipment. When asserting your rights under warranty, you need to present the duly completed warranty card or the purchase receipt/invoice together with a description of the defect in as much detail as possible, in particular of the external manifestations of the defect.
  4. A warranty card without the dealer’s seal, signature, and date of sale is invalid.
  5. The warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.
  6. The warranty excludes products without the tamper-proof seal, unless an authorized Service employee has removed the seal.
  7. The repair center shall make every effort to complete the repair within 21 days. The said time limit may be extended to 1 month in the event that spare parts currently unavailable at the Service must be purchased.
  8. It is recommended that the complete product be submitted together with the complaint so as to facilitate service operations.
  9. This warranty for the sold consumer product does not exclude, restrict or suspend any rights of the Buyer related to laws and regulations concerning warranty for defects in sold items pursuant to the provisions of the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws Dz.U.2014.121).
  10. The warranty shall be applicable within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
