Before First Use

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. This appliance must not be used by children without supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord away from children.
  2. The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by individuals lacking the relevant experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or use the appliance safely, in compliance with the user’s manual, and understand the hazards involved.
  3. Children must not play with the appliance.
  4. Turn off the device and disconnect it from the power source before changing accessories or approaching moving parts.
  5. Always unplug the appliance from the outlet if it is left unattended or before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
  6. The device’s maximum operation time is 90 seconds. After operating it for 3 minu-tes, disconnect the device from the power source and wait 2 minutes before opera-ting it again.
  7. When cleaning parts that come into con-tact with food, follow the section 8. CLE-ANING AND CARE.
  8. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blade and during cleaning.
  9. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  10. Warning! Risk of injury in the event of misuse. Use extreme caution when remo-ving accessories, especially when instal-ling and removing blades and the blade.
  11. Only use the accessories included with the device.
  12. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an autho-rized service centre or a qualified indivi-dual in order to avoid hazard.
  13. Read this manual thoroughly before first use.
  14. Before connecting the appliance to a power source, make sure that the electric grid specifications correspond to the parameters indicated on the data plate.
  15. The appliance should be connected to a 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz mains.
  16. When using electrical appliances, especially in the presence of children, basic safety precautions should be observed in order to avoid the risk of fire or electric shock.

Open the packaging and carefully take out the appliance. Ensure that the pac- kage is complete and none of its contents are damaged. Check that plastic parts are not broken and the power cord is not damaged. If you find that any compo-nents are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the appliance. Retain the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.

USE

Before first use

  • Unpack the appliance and remove all packaging elements.
  • Check to ensure the power supply parameters correspond to the para-meters of the local electrical grid.
  • Before first use, clean the appliance and accessories in accordance with the instructions contained in section. CLEANING AND CARE.

Speed control
The speed of rotation can be adjusted using the on switch and the speed con- trol knob. To increase the speed of rotation, the on switch and the speed control knob must be pressed harder and harder. Thestronger the pressure, the faster the speed. To reduce the speed of rotation – release the pressure on the on swi-tch and the speed controler knob.

Operating the blender with the grinding attachment
You may use the grinding attachment to prepare dips, sauces, soups, mayon- naise, baby meals and milk cocktails.

  • Make sure that the appliance is unplugged.
  • Mount the grinding attachment onto the blender body by inserting it into the attachment and turning it clockwise to lock it.
  • Prepare food ingredients in the 0.6 l container.
  • Connect the appliance to 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz mains.
  • Insert the grinding attachment into the container.
  • Press and hold the on switch. To increase the speed, press harder on the switch.
  • To disassemble, grasp the blender with both hands, one by the blender body and the other by the grinding attachment. Then turn both parts in opposite directions. The attachment should be facing down when remo-ving/installing.

Attention!
Never use the appliance continuously for more than 90 seconds. After this period, unplug the appliance from the outlet and wait about 2 minutes before switching it on again. The temperature of the food being prepared should not exceed 35°C. Unplug the appliance before replacing accessories or appro- aching moving parts during operation. If the blades get jammed during ope- ration, immediately release the low speed or high speed button. Unplug the appliance and remove the cause of the jam. If you operate the appliance with the blades jammed, you may damage the blender.

The blades are sharp – exercise caution.

Operating the blender with the 0.6 l mini food processor
In this configuration, use the blender to grind such products as: meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, walnuts, almonds, prunes etc. Do not chop any hard pro-ducts such as nutmeg, coffee beans or grain.

  • Make sure that the appliance is unplugged.
  • Fit blades on the spindle inside the 0.6 l container. The 0.6 l container sho-uld be placed on a flat, dry and stable surface.
  • Insert the food ingredients into the 0.6 l container (do not exceed 2/3 of the container).
  • Fit the container lid on the 0.6 l container.

Attention!
The 0.6 l container edges and the container lid edges are profiled. Do not use force to connect these elements. If you feel any resistance, turn the 0.6 l container slightly. Do not use the appliance without the lid properly attached.

  • Attach the container lid to the blender body by inserting it into the hole in the lid and turning it clockwise to lock it.
  • Connect the appliance to the 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz mains. Press and hold the on switch. During operation, use one hand to hold the 0.6 l container and the other hand to hold the blender. After use, unplug the appliance.
  • Remove the blender body from the container lid by holding the cover with one hand and unscrewing the blender body with the other.
  • Remove the container lid from the 1.5 l container.
  • Take out the disc or blades carefully.

Attention!
Never use the appliance continuously for more than 90 seconds. After this period, unplug the appliance from the outlet and wait about 2 minutes before switching it on again. The temperature of the meal being prepared should not exceed 35°C. Unplug the appliance before replacing accessories or appro- aching moving parts during operation. If the blades get jammed during operation, immediately release the low speed or high speed button. Unplug the appliance and remove the cause of the jam. If you operate the appliance with the cutting blades jammed, you may damage the blender.

The blades are sharp – exercise caution.

Operating the blender with the whisk
In this configuration, you may prepare such dishes as: whipped cream, merin- gue, instant desserts.

  • Make sure that the appliance is unplugged.
  • Mount the beater attachment on the blender by inserting the blender body into the attachment and turning it clockwise to lock it.
  • Connect the whisk attachment to the whisk.
  • Prepare food ingredients in the 0.6 l container.
  • Connect the appliance to 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz mains.
  • Insert the whisk into the 0.6 l container.
  • Press and hold the on switch. To increase the speed, press the switch harder. To reduce RPM, reduce the pressure on the switch.
  • After use, unplug the appliance.
  • Remove the whisk from the whisk attachment.
  • To disassemble, hold the blender with both hands, one by the blen-der body and the other by the attachment of the beater. Then turn both parts in opposite directions. The attachment should be facing down when removing/installing.

CLEANING AND CARE

Basic rules
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the useful life of the appliance.

Warning!
Switch off the appliance, unplug it and let it cool down before cleaning and maintenance to avoid electric shock and burns.

  1. It is recommended that the blender be wiped with a soft, damp cloth or paper towel and left to dry.
  2. All other components should be washed in lukewarm water with some mild detergent.
  3. Use a wooden or plastic spatula to remove stubborn food residues.
  4. You may use a cotton swab to remove food residues from hard-to-reach plaques.

Attention!
Do not clean the appliance with any strong chemicals, alkalis, abrasive or disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the appliance. Do not use sharp, coarse or metal cleaning tools, since they could damage appliance sur- faces! Do not immerse the blender or power cord in water or any liquid. Exercise caution when cleaning the appliance – the blades are sharp.

REPAIR

The appliance contains no parts that could be serviced by the user. Do not attempt to repair the appliance on your own. Always have the appliance repa- ired by a professional. If the blender cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service center or a qualified person in order to avoid hazards.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

  1. The appliance must be cleaned as described above and left until it is completely dry.
  2. Always store the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated room, beyond children’s reach.
  3. During transportation, protect the appliance against vibration and shocks.

RECYCLING

Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can pose a hazard. The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Correct disposal of the device:

  1. According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.
  2. Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.
  3. Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a nega-tive impact on the environment and human health.
  4. Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment.
  5. Information on electric and electronic devices collection centers is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.

General Terms and Conditions of the Warranty

  1. The Warrantor for this product warrants that within 36 months from the product purchase date, confirmed with a duly completed warranty card, the product shall be, at the discretion of the Warrantor, subject to:
    • repair free of charge, subject to the condition that any dismantled, damaged or faulty parts, in order to ensure the Customer’s safety, shall become the Warrantor’s property,
    • replacement with a new product at the point of purchase, subject to the condition that the damaged or faulty product shall become the Warrantor’s property,
    • return of the product price to the User, subject to the condition that the damaged or faulty product shall become the Warrantor’s property.
  2. A defective/damaged product is a product failing to provide the features described in the user’s manual due to the intrinsic properties of the device.
  3. The Beneficiary under the warranty shall deliver the appliance to the Customer Service Point at a given store in order to submit a complaint about the equipment. When asserting your rights under warranty, you need to present the duly completed warranty card or the purchase receipt/invoice together with a description of the defect in as much detail as possible, in particular of the external manifestations of the defect.
  4. A warranty card without the vendor’s stamp and signature or sale date is invalid.
  5. The warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.
  6. The warranty excludes products without the tamper-proof seal, unless an authorized Service employee has removed the seal.
  7. The repair center shall make every effort to complete the repair within 21 days. The said time limit may be extended to 1 month in the event that spare parts currently unavailable at the Service must be purchased.
  8. It is recommended that the complete product be submitted together with the complaint so as to facilitate service operations.
  9. This warranty for the sold consumer product does not exclude, restrict or suspend any rights of the Buyer stemming from laws and regulations concerning warranties for defects in sold items pursuant to the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws Dz.U.2014.121).
  10. The warranty shall be applicable within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
