Product Information
The Electric Lift Wall Stand is designed for the Cisco Webex Board Pro 75 and is ADA compliant. It is manufactured by Salamander Designs and is part of their Electric Lift Wall Display Stands 75 series. For more information, visit www.salamandercommercial.com. Product Usage Instructions
- Unbox the product and remove the panels.
- Lay the panels flat on the floor.
- Slide the outer panel away from the base and then lift it up and off the unit.
- Unscrew the inner panel from the stand, saving the screws.
- Install the leveler feet.
Important Safety Instructions
- Manage cables carefully and use cable ties to keep wires away from moving parts.
- When relocating the device, set it to the lowest position and use the handle to move and position it.
- This product is intended for use with video monitors weighing 200lbs (90kg) or less. Using it with heavier televisions may result in instability and tip over, leading to serious injury or death.
- Always follow basic precautions when using an electrical furnishing.

Duty Cycle of the Motor Control System
The duty cycle is 10% ~ 6 min./hour or max. 2 min. of continuous use, irrespective of the load. Exceeding the duty cycle will result in superheating of the motor and a dramatic reduction in the life of the system.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- When using an electrical furnishing, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

- Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.
- Use this device only for its intended use as described in these instructions.
- Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
- Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
- Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- The device shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as cups or vases, shall be placed on the furnishing.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

- If the device makes unusual noise or smells, switch off the mains voltage immediately. Return the device to a service center for examination and repair.

- This must NOT be exceeded as this will result in a superheating of the motor. Exceeding the duty cycle will result in a dramatic reduction of the life of the system.
The motor control system range contains the following components:
- 1 control box
- 2 Telescoping actuators
- 1 exchangeable main power cable
- 2 motor cables
- 1 Wired remote control
- Troubleshooting / Initialization of the motor control system
- If motor control system malfunctions follow these steps;
- The system is initialized by pressing the down button once or twice and holding it down until unit runs into end stop, it will then automatically run approx. 3 mm out again and hereafter slowly running in again. Only release the down button when the movement has completely stopped. If the key is released before the sequence is completed then the initialization is interrupted and must be started again from the beginning. It is sometimes necessary to press the down button twice to start the initialization this is because the system can be in different modes when the initialization starts.
- WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock – Connect the device to a properly grounded outlet only. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Do not use a plug adapter that defeats the polarized feature of the AC plug.
- WARNING: Do not overload the wall outlet where this device is being connected. Do not overload this device. Ensure the total load to this device does not exceed that which is listed in the specifications section of this manual.
Maintenance
- DANGER – To reduce the risk of electrical shock: Always unplug this device from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
- Clean dust and dirt with a dry cloth, on the outside of the system at appropriate intervals and inspect for damage.
- Inspect the connections, cables, and plugs and check for correct functioning as well as video monitor fixing points.
Repairs
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the device, the device has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- There are no user-serviceable components within this device. Removal of the cover from this device may present a shock hazard, and void the warranty.

ASSEMBLY
Unbox & remove panels
Lay flat on floor
- Slide outer panel away from base and then up and off the unit.
- Remove inner panel by unscrewing it from stand (save screws).
- Install leveler feet
Locating your mount

WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS PERSONAL

INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! It is the installers responsibility to make sure the structure to which the unit is being installed is capable of supporting the load. The product is designed for installation to 2×4 wood stud or masonry not
un-reinforced metal studs. -
WOOD CONSTRUCTION: locate two framing studs (minimum of 16” (405 mm) apart) at the desired location using a stud finder device. Use 3/16” (5mm) bit and drill holes 2.5” (64mm) deep.

MASONRY: a minimum width of 16” (405 mm) is required between fasteners.

Use 3/8” (10mm) bit and drill holes 2.5” (64mm) deep.

A. Using a level, adjust leveler feet until unit is level.

B. For wood studs, use stud finder. Mark hole position.
Mount stand to wall
Drill Wall Hole:
- Set stand aside and drill holes for 5/16” lag screws (S).
- WOOD CONSTRUCTION: Use 3/16” (5mm) bit and drill holes 2.5” (64mm) deep.
- MASONRY: Use 3/8” (10mm) bit and drill holes 2.5” (64mm) deep.
- Reposition stand and secure unit to wall using the four lag screws (R) and washers (L) supplied and a 1/2” (or 13mm) driver to tighten. For masonry, install lag shields (T) prior to bolting in position.
Install Mounting Rails & Velcro Straps
- Mount supplied rails (Q) to stand. The velcro straps (I & J) can be used on this rail.
Route Cables from Display to Stand
- Manage cables carefully. Use cable ties to keep wires away from pinch points. Route cables between the back of display and the hole on the front of stand. Use supplied split loom cable manager to route cables.
- Re-install the inner panel using 2 screws removed in first step.
- Re-install panel by aligning all 4 screws protruding from panel through the keyhole shapes on stand. Note: Outer panel may be secured in place by tightening the fasteners on the backside of the panel.
Operation: Remote Control
- Hold down the “down” button to initialize unit.
- Up button will raise display to presentation mode
- Down button will lower display to transport mode.
Troubleshooting
- Double check that power cord is firmly plugged into power supply
- Hold down the “down” button continuously for several seconds to reset unit

Display Installation
- 1a. Install display bracket using A” (4) M10 x 16mm bolts
- 1b. Install shoulder washers to the display brackets using “D” (4) 5/16-18 bolts
- Two people are needed to install the display on the stand using the supplied Cisco lifting handles. Position shoulder washers and screw into the “key hole” slot as shown and continue holding dis-play. Then Immediately use “D” (2) 5/16 x 1/2 screws to affix the mounting brackets to the bracket as shown. Tighten all screws firmly. Cisco lifting handles can be removed after installation.
- Tip: With larger screens it is more accessible to install locking screws with the stand all the way down and standing on a ladder.
