The Superior Automotive Tools MBD1 Deluxe Paintless Dent Repair Kit is a handy tool that helps in repairing minor dents on vehicles without the need for costly bodywork. The kit includes a glue gun, pull tabs, release agent, slide hammer, and scraper. The glue gun is powered by 120VAC / 60Hz / 40W and comes with a set of instructions to help you use it safely and effectively. The pull tabs come in different sizes and shapes to help you fix dents of varying sizes. The release agent makes it easy to remove the glue and pull tabs once the dent has been fixed. Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the Superior Automotive Tools MBD1 Deluxe Paint less Dent Repair Kit, read the manual carefully and understand all the safety instructions.
- Make sure that all parts of the kit are present and undamaged before using them. If any parts are missing or broken, contact the support team immediately.
- Choose the pull tab of the same size as the dent you want to repair.
- Clean the dent area with release agent using a clean cloth. Be careful not to touch the melted glue with your skin.
- Insert a glue stick into the glue gun and plug it into a grounded 120VAC outlet. Allow it to warm up for ten to fifteen minutes before use.
- Apply glue to the pull tab and quickly place it on the center of the dent. Hold it there for ten seconds.
- Wait for two to three minutes for the glue to set before applying the slide hammer over the end of the pull tab. Slide it backward and forward until the dent is raised.
- Remove the pull tab. If necessary, spray release agent around the pull tab to soften the glue and use the scraper to remove it.
- Clean the area thoroughly to remove any residue left behind by the release agent.
- Inspect the kit before every use and do not use it if any parts are loose or damaged.
- Maintain product labels and nameplates as they carry important safety information. Contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement if they are unreadable or missing.
- Keep the manual and receipt in a safe and dry place for future reference.

Instructions
Note: This Kit will not repair ALL dents, regardless of size. It will not work on aluminum surfaces.

Insert Glue Stick into Glue Gun. Plug Glue Gun into grounded 120VAC outlet. Allow to warm up for ten to fifteen minutes before use.
Note: Do not use crafting glue sticks. -
Using clean cloth (not included), clean dent area with Release Agent.

Choose Pull Tab the same size as dent.

Apply glue to Pull Tab then quickly place Pull Tab on center of dent and hold there for ten seconds.

Wait two to three minutes for glue to set before applying puller.
Slide Hammer

Place Slide Hammer over end of Pull Tab. Slide it backward and forward until dent is raised.

Remove Slide Hammer.

Remove Pull Tab. If necessary, spray Release Agent around Pull Tab to soften glue and use Scraper to remove glue.

Clean area thoroughly to remove Release Agent residue.
T-Puller
- Place T-Puller over end of Pull Tab. Pull it backward until dent is raised.
- Remove T-Puller.
- Place T-Puller over end of Pull Tab. Pull it backward until dent is raised.
- Remove T-Puller.
Lever Puller
Use on a small dent.

Place Lever Puller on the Pull Tab. Turn knob until both of the Puller’s feet are flat against the vehicle’s surface.

Slowly squeeze the Lever Puller’s handles until there is a pop and the dent is raised. Stop when dent returns to normal surface level. Turn knob, if necessary, to increase pull.

Remove Lever Puller.

Remove Pull Tab. If necessary, spray Release Agent around Pull Tab to soften glue and use Scraper to remove glue.

Clean area thoroughly to remove Release Agent residue.
Repairing High Spots
Use a hammer (sold separately) and Knockdown Tool or Shape Stick against
raised spot until desired smoothness is reached.
Knockdown Tool
- Hold the Knockdown Tool over raised area and lightly tap the hammer on the head of the tool to push the raised area down.
- Change tip by unscrewing it from the tool and screwing in the other one.
Shape Sticks
Hold the desired Shape Stick over raised area and lightly tap hammer on the
head of the tool to push the raised area down.
