Product Information
- The Strut Wall 170 is a display mount panel that can be adjusted to 10 different height positions within 16.4 adjustments and has a center display height ranging from 48 to 64 inches. It has a display capacity size of 42-98 inches and can hold up to 225 lbs. The display mount is VESA compliant and has horizontal sizes ranging from 200mm to 600mm and vertical sizes ranging from 100mm to 400mm.
- The Strut Wall 170 also features lift-off panels that can be positioned above the display mount panel and then lowered further. It comes with a hinged access door and leveler feet to ensure the unit is level. Product Usage Instructions: Strut Wall 170

Set Strut 170 in Place:

Mark the wall where the unit will be placed.

Use the leveler feet to level the unit.

Loosen nut with supplied wrench and tighten to the locked position.

Consider Display Position:
The display mount panel can be positioned along posts to the desired height. Reference center-line of screen specs below:- There are a total of 10 different height positions within 16.4 adjustments and a center display height ranging from 48 to 64 inches.
- The display mount panel can be slid along the posts in incremental height positions of 1.82 inches.

Adjust Display Mount Position:

- Loosen two bottom screws TWO full rotations and two top panel screws about SEVEN rotations. Do not completely remove the screws from the flat nuts.

Slide the display mount panel into the desired height position. Remove lift-panels if necessary.

Position the display mount panel to the desired height by aligning the two top screws to the appropriate holes in the post and tighten all four screws.

Reinstall Lift-Off Panels:
Depending on lift-off panel positions, screws may need to be repositioned. See diagram to locate appropriate position. -
Install Rack Mounted Component:

Set Strut 170 in Place
Consider Display Position
Display mount panel can be positioned along posts to desired height. Reference center-line of screen specs below.
Lift-off panels can be positioned above the display mount panel and then the display mount panel can be lowered further.
Adjust Display Mount Position
PRO TIP: This process is done easier by laying the Strut 170 on a horizontal surface.
- Loosen two bottom screws TWO full rotations and two top panel screws about SEVEN rotations. Do not completely remove the screws from the flat nuts.
- Slide display mount panel along the posts in incremental height positions of 1.82”.
See Step 3C to place the display mount panel further down the posts. Position the display mount panel to the desired height by aligning the two top screws to the appropriate holes in the post and tightening all four screws.
Adjust Display Mount Position
Slide the display mount panel into the desired height position. Remove lift-
panels necessary, see below.

Removing Lift-Off Panels
Lift panels up and off, leaving the lift off panel screws. Remove the panel
lock thumb screws on the lift-off panels from the backside of unit

Reinstall Lift-Off Panels
Depending on lift-off panel positions, screws may need to be repositioned. See diagram to locate appropriate position.
Install Rack Mounted Component
- Open the door by pushing door inward until it clicks, release and it will pop outward. The door can be pulled open.
- Mount 1U rack mount component to the 1U Bracket.
Install Optional Tech Shelf or Tech Bracket
NOTE: Installation of a Tech Shelf or Tech Bracket can be above or below the screen and/or can be used together. If using 2 peripherals, with one above and below, use a combination of 1 and 2 post mounts as shown. These can be either 1 post over 2 , or 2 posts over 1.
Attach to Strut 170 to Wall
NOTE: Alternate fasteners provided for wood studs.
- Drill 1/2” diameter hole. Hold metal channel flat alongside plastic straps and slide channel through hole.
- Hold ends of straps between thumb and forefinger and pull toward you until channel rests flush behind wall. Slide plastic cap along straps with either hand with flange of cap is flush with wall.
- Snap straps at wall by pushing side to side, snapping of straps level with flange of cap.
- Move Strut 170 to the wall and attach the bracket. Insert bolt through Bracket and tighten until snug against the wall.
Attach Brackets to Display
Use holes shown
Install Display
Insert the four shoulder washers on the brackets through the keyhole openings and rest washers at the bottom of the openings.
