Thank you for purchasing a SIGURO appliance. We are grateful for your trust and are pleased to introduce the device to you on the following pages and introduce you to all its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

  1. This appliance is intended for use by children 8 years of age and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards.

  2. Children must not play with the device.

  3. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

  4. Children under the age of 3 should be denied access to the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.

  5. Children between the ages of 3 and 8 must only switch this appliance on /off if it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and if they are supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance safely and understand the potential dangers.

  6. Children between the ages of 3 and 8 must not insert the plug into the outlet, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

  7. WARNING: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Pay special attention to the presence of children and the disabled.

  8. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a dangerous situation.
    DO NOT COVER! Do not cover the appliance to prevent overheat-ing.

  9. The appliance must not be placed close to electricity outlet.

  10. Do not use the appliance near a bath, shower or swimming pool.

  11. Do not use the appliance if it fell.

  12. Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage.

  13. Use the appliance on a horizontal and stable surface. This appliance is not intended for wall or ceiling mounting.

  14. WARNING: This appliance is not equipped with a room temperature control device. Do not use it in small rooms if there are people in it who are not able to leave the room on their own, unless permanent supervision is provided.

  15. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains or any other flammable material at least 1 m from the air outlet.

  16. The appliance is designed as free-standing.

  17. Before connecting the plug to the electrical outlet, make sure that the voltage indicated on the type plate of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your electrical outlet

  18. Plug the appliance only into a properly grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cable.

  19. The outlet must remain easily accessible so that the plug can be pulled out quickly if necessary.

  20. Before use, make sure that the appliance is correctly assembled. Do not place the appliance on unstable surfaces, such as carpet.

  21. This appliance is intended for domestic and indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.

  22. Do not use the appliance in areas with high dust or humidity (e.g. in laundries or bathrooms), in areas where chemical or explosive substances are stored, or in an industrial environment.

  23. Do not place the appliance near open flames or appliances that are a source of heat.

  24. Do not allow the appliance, the power cord or the plug of the power cord to touch a hot surface.

  25. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table.

  26. Do not use the appliance with a programmer, timer, remote control system or any other component that switches the appliance on automatically.

  27. If you leave the appliance unattended or not in use and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning, always switch it off and unplug the power cord from the outlet

  28. Never immerse the appliance, power cord or the power cord plug in water or any other liquid and do not rinse them under running water. There is a risk of injury from electric shock.

  29. Never insert your fingers or other objects through the protective grille when the appliance is connected to a power source, and especially when it is in operation.

  30. Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or if you are standing on a wet floor.

  31. Always carry the appliance by the body with both hands.

  32. Unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug of the power cord, not the cord. Otherwise, the power cord or plug may be damaged.

  33. Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage, has fallen into the water or is not working properly. Contact and authorized service centre. Never repair the appliance yourself.

  34. The appliance’s remote control uses a battery to power it. Do not swallow the battery. There is a risk of chemical burns, even in a very short time, which can lead to death. If a swallowing of battery is suspected, seek medical attention immediately.

  35. Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

USE

Before first use

  1. Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check that the appliance and any accessories are not damaged.
  2. Remove all protective foils from the appliance and its accessories.
  3. Wipe the base and the head of the appliance with a dry and soft cloth.
  4. Place the appliance on a firm, stable and clean surface sufficiently remote from the electrical outlet. Make sure that there is enough free space around the appliance for proper airflow.

On/Off

  1. Connect the power cord plug into the electrical outlet. An audible warning sounds and the appliance switches to standby mode.
  2. Press briefly to turn on the appliance.
  3. The appliance starts in default setting: the fan starts; the fan light and the graphical representation of the fan speed light up on the display. Other functions will not be active.
  4. If you will not use the appliance, press to turn it into standby mode. To switch off the appliance completely, disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.

Note: If the appliance suddenly switches off with the head turned to the right or left while the horizontal oscillation function has been switched on, switch on the appliance and switch on the horizontal oscillation function. Wait until the appliance’s head is in the middle, and then switch off the appliance.
Fan speed setting
The rotary knob is used to set the fan speed. Turn the knob to the right to increase speed, turn the knob to the left to decrease speed. You can set the fan speed from 1 to 32, where speed 1″ is the lowest and speed 32* is the highest. At each turn, the speed flashes on the display. Once the speed on the display stabilizes, the speed is set. The speed stabilizes after about 5 seconds of inactivity or if you press another function button. An audible alert sounds when you reach the highest or lowest speed.

Timor function

Automatic shutoff
The sleep timer function is used to set the time after which the appliance switches off automatically and switches to standby mode.
Set the timer using this button (5. Press the button ®,” ” appears on the display and the numeric value flashes.
Set the timer time with the rotary knob. Turn to the right to increase the timer time, turn to the left to decrease the timer time. You can set the timer time from 0 to 12 hours. The numeric value on the display flashes to show the set timer time. Wait about 5 seconds for the set timer time to save in the memory, the value on the display will stabilize, and the countdown will begin.
When you reach the minimum or maximum value of the timer, you will hear a sound alert. When the set time has elapsed, the appliance turns off automatically and switches to standby mode.
If the set timer time is “0”, the timer function is canceled.
Note: If you set the fan speed and the timer time at the same time, the numeric display will alternate between the set speed and the set timer time. If you enter the timer setting mode, the previously saved timer setting will not be deleted. Turn the knob to change the set time.
Automatic power on
The timer function of automatic powering on is used to set the time after which the appliance will switch on automatically.
While the appliance is in the stadby mode, press the button .
Set the timer time with the rotary knob. Turn to the right to increase the timer time, turn to the left to decrease the timer time. You can set the timer time from 1 to 12 hours. The numeric value on the display flashes to show the set timer time. Watt about 5 seconds for the set timer time to save in the memory, the value on the display will stabilize, the display will turn off, and the countdown will begin. When you reach the minimum or maximum value of the timer, you will hear a sound alert. Once the set time has elapsed, the appliance automatically switches on at the setting in which it was last switched off (except for the sleep mode and the automatic shutoff timer).

Note: The set time tolerances are +/- 3%.
Operating mode setting
Use the button to set the operating mode. Press this button repeatedly to select the required mode: normal – natural air flow _ sleep – normal etc. Each time you press, the corresponding indicator light comes on on the display, except for the normal mode, which does not have a light on the display. Each of the operating modes has a preset cycle of airflow and fan speed.
Normal mode: the speed of the fan is constant andf can be adjusted by turning the knob.
Natural air flow: the speed of the air flow Is controlled automatically depending on the selected fan speed. Fan speeds 1-32 are divided into 3 levels:

  1. Low level of natural flow: speeds 1 to 10 (speeds 1 to 10 will alternate);
  2. Medium natural flow level: speeds 11 to 20 (speeds 1 to 20 will alternate);
  3. High level of natural flow: speeds 21 to 32 (speeds 1 to 32 will alternate).

You can turn the knob to select the desired leve1:10-20-32. The combination of speeds achieves the effect of a natural breeze.
Sleep mode: It is a combination of natural airflow mode and gradual reduction of speed, which prevents the unpleasant feeling of airflow at high speed during sleep. The fan speeds are divided into 3 levels, as in the natural airflow mode, and you can turn the knob to select the desired leve1:10-20-32.

  1. If you select a low level (10), air will flow at speeds of 1 to 10 at all times.
  2. If you select the medium level (20), the air will flow to the medium level (ii to 20) for 30 minutes and then switch to the low level.
  3. If you select high level (32), air will flow to high level (21 to 32) for 30 minutes, then switch to medium level (11 to 20) for 30 minutes, and finally to low level.

Horizontal oscillation
The button is used to turn on or off the horizonatl oscillation function. Press re-peatedly the button to select the angle of the left to right oscillation of the head: 30°, 90°,180 ° or 360°. Press again to turn off the horizontal oscillation function. Each time you press the ” button, the selected angle indicator light comes on on the display.

Note: When you turn on the horizontal oscillation function for the first time, the head motor first detects the oscillation options and then starts rotating from left to right at the angle you select.
Vertical oscillation
Use the button to turn on or off the vertical oscillation function. Press briefly the button to start the appliance’s head oscillation up and down. The vertical oscillation light comes on on the display.
If you need to turn off the vertical oscillation function, press briefly the button and the oscillation will stop. The vertical oscillation indicator light on the display goes out.
Turn off the display
If you need to turn off the display, press the button . The display goes off. Press any button to turn the display back on.
Note: After about 1 minute of continuous operation, the display backlight dims by about 1/3 of the normal backlight. This is a normal occurrence. Press any button to restore the display brightness.
Memory function
The appliance remembers the last saved setting, except for the timer function and sleeping mode. If you switch on the appliance, It will start in the setting in which you previously switched it off.
Remote control
The buttons on the remote control correspond to the buttons on the control panel. The principle of control is the same as the above described procedures of setting the appliance and its functions. The remote control is supplied with inserted batteries from the manufacturer. To use the remote control, remove the protective film from the battery compartment. It pro-tects the battery from discharge and damage during transport. If you want to use the remote control, point it to the signal receiver on the appliance. The maximum range of signal sent from the remote control is 6 m. If obstacles are located between the remote control and the appliance, the signal cannot be transmit- ted. If the inserted battery Is empty It needs to be replaced by the same type.
Proceed as follows

  1. Slide the cover with the battery compartment from the bottom of the remote control.
  2. Remove the depleted battery and Insert a new 3V CR2032 battery. Observe correct polarity when inserting a battery.
  3. Insert cover with the compartment back into the remote control.

If you will not use the remote control for a long time, we recommend removing the battery. If the battery leaks into the Interior of the remote control, It could damage it. Warnings Never put batteries in fire, short circuit or damage them in any way. After the end of their lifetime, discard them in environmentally friendly man-ner. Never dispose of batteries in household waste.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning or any maintenance, always switch off the appliance, unplug the pow-er cord from the outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
  Warning: Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug of the power 0 cord in water or any other liquid.
Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The surface finish could be seriously damaged.
Wipe the base and the head of the appliance with a dry and soft cloth. If the base or head of the appliance is too dirty, use a soft sponge slightly dampened in warm water and apply a mild detergent to it. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. It is important to keep the inlet and outlet openings clean. You can use a vacuum cleaner with a brush nozzle and a set at low power to remove dust and fine dirt
Warning: Under no circumstances remove the appliance’s head cover.
Storage
Before storing, make sure that the appliance and its accessories are cool and clean. Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children or pets.
Do not place any objects on the appliance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Solution
The appliance cannot be switched on. Check the plug connection of the power

cord to the power outlet.
The appliance is too noisy.| Check that the appliance is clean and regularly remove dust from the outlets and inlets.
The remote control does not work.| Replace battery.

If the problem is not listed in the table above or if the problem persists, switch off the appliance, disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet and contact an authorized service center.
