INTENDED PURPOSE
The electric glass kettle is intended for heating and boiling potable water.
It must not be used for heating other liquids or foods.
Follow the instructions contained in this manual for safe installation and use
of the appliance.
The appliance is intended for private indoor use only; it may not be used for
professional purposes.

Children under 8 must not be allowed to clean the product without supervision. Keep the kettle and its power cord away from children under 8.

Children may not play with the appliance.

The surfaces of the appliance are liable to get hot during use.

When cleaning parts that come into contact with food, follow the section 8 Cleaning and maintenance.

The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids when cleaning it.

Attention! Risk of burns! Do not touch hot surfaces and watch out for steam escaping from the device.
Hold the device only by the handle. -
WARNING! If too much water has been poured into the kettle, the boiling water may spill out.

WARNING! Do not open the lid when the water is boiling.

If the power cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service representative or an appropriately qualified person to avoid hazard.

The kettle must be connected to a 220-240 V~ 50/60 Hz mains through a grounded outlet.

Use the electric glass kettle only to boil water, in accordance with its intended purpose.

Do not turn on the kettle if it is filled with water above the maximum level or below the minimum level. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may splash out of it.
Do not turn the kettle on if it is empty. -
To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the power cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the countertop or sink.

Do not use an extension cord. If, however, you are willing to take responsibility for such an action, use only an extension cord in good working condition, with proper grounding, and suitable for supplying power to the appliance.

The power cord should not hang freely or touch any hot surfaces.

Place the appliance at a distance from other kitchen appliances that become hot, such as ovens, electric cookers, gas burners etc.

Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. Make sure that the electric connection of the kettle and its bottom are not wet.

Do not cover the appliance with anything when it is being used or when it is hot.

Device only for indoor use.

Use the device on a flat, stable and dry surface, resistant to high temperatures.

Attention! Risk of burns! Do not touch hot surfaces and keep away from steam emitted by the appliance. Hold the appliance by its handle only.

The kettle has no parts that can be repaired by the user. Never repair yourself. Always have your repair repaired.

Open the packaging and carefully take out the appliance. Ensure that the package is complete and none of its contents are damaged. Check that plastic parts are not broken and the power cord is not damaged. If you find that any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the appliance. Retain the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.
Attention! To keep children safe, do not leave packaging parts (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, expanded polystyrene elements etc.) freely accessible. Danger of suffocation!Niebezpieczeństwo uduszenia!
OPERATION
Before use
- Unfold the power cord inside the base. Place the base on a dry, flat and stable surface resistant to high temperatures. Plug the power cord into an electric outlet.
- Fill the kettle with clean water so that the water level is between the minimum quantity (MIN) and not above the maximum (MAX).
- Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
- Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum level and boil the water in accordance with this manual – point 7.4 Boiling water. Pour the water out and repeat the sequence 2 – 4 times.
Turning the kettle on and off
Attention! The housing heats up.
Do not touch these parts when the device is in operation and immediately after
boiling.
Wait for the device to cool down.
Remember to boil clean water 2-4 times before the first use (point 7.1 Before use).
- To turn the device on, press the on / off switch up.
- The device automatically turns off when the water boils.
- To turn off manually, press the on / off switch down to the starting position.
Opening and closing the lid
- To open the lid, press the lid-opening button and open the lid.
- To close the lid, press the lid down on the kettle.
Boiling water

Fill the electric glass kettle with water to the desired level. Do not overfill the kettle, so that water does not splash or spill out. The water level indicator will help you take a suitable amount of water. Always make sure that the water level is between the MIN and MAX markings. Do not forget to close the lid after you fill the kettle with water.
Attention! Fill the appliance with cold, fresh water only. -
Put the electric glass kettle on the base and turn the appliance on as described above. When the water comes to a boil, the appliance will turn off automatically. You may then remove the kettle from the base.

After letting the appliance cool down for some time. Then you may boil water again.
When the appliance is cooling down, do not press the ON/OFF switch, as it may damage the mechanism. -
The lid must be closed when boiling water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Basic rules
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the useful life of the appliance.
Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn the appliance off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down, so as to avoid burns and electrocution.
a) Remove dust with a dry cloth or brush.
b) Use a damp cloth and a mild detergent to remove stubborn dirt.
Attention! Never clean the appliance with harsh, alkaline, abrasive or disinfecting chemical compounds, as they may adversely affect appliance surfaces. Attention! Do not immerse the appliance or its base in water or other liquids.
Descaling
In order to remove scale deposited inside the kettle and on the heating element, prepare a solution of water and vinegar (1 part vinegar per 2 parts water). Pour the solution into the kettle and heat it up, but DO NOT BOIL THE SOLUTION! Leave the solution in the kettle for about 1 hour, then pour it out, fill the kettle with water up to the maximum level and boil the water. Pour the water out and remove deposit residues with a damp cloth. If water at your location leaves lots of scale, frequent descaling is recommended. Do not perform descaling with chemicals intended for coffee makers or irons.
Attention! Descaling frequency depends on the quality and type of water used and on how frequently the product is used. Descaling should be performed when you notice that more than a quarter of the bottom surface is covered with scale.
ERVICE
The appliance contains no parts that could be serviced by the user. Do not attempt to repair the appliance on your own. Always have the appliance repaired by a professional.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service centre or a qualified individual, so as to avoid hazard.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

The appliance must be cleaned as described above and left until it is completely dry.
It is recommended that the appliance be stored in its original packaging. -
Always store the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated room, beyond children’s reach.

Always hold the appliance by its handle(s) when handling it.

Protect the appliance from vibration and shock during transport.
DISPOSAL
Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can
pose a hazard.
The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Proper recycling of the appliance:
- According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.
- Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.
- Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a negative impact on the environment and human health.
- Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment.
- Information on electric and electronic devices collection centres is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.
CE DECLARATION
The product has been designed, manufactured and marketed in compliance with the New Approach Directives. Therefore, the product bears the “CE” mark and has a declaration of conformity, which is available to the market monitoring authorities for inspection.
WARRANTY
In order to claim a product, you must deliver the product to the Customer Service Center at any Biedronka store.

- The Manufacturer of this product grants a 36-month warranty valid from the purchase date. Should you find any defect, submit a complaint at the place of purchase.
- A defective/damaged product means a product failing to provide the features described in the Instruction Manual due to intrinsic properties of the appliance.
- The Beneficiary under the warranty shall deliver the appliance to the Customer Service Point at a relevant store in order to submit a complaint about the equipment. When asserting your rights under the warranty, you need to present proof of purchase (purchase receipt, invoice) together with a description of the device defect in as much detail as possible, in particular of the external manifestations of the defect.
- The warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.
- The warranty does not cover products from which the tamper-proof seal has been removed and products to which repairs, alterations or structural modifications have been attempted.
- The warranty does not cover components subject to natural wear and tear during operation.
- It is recommended that the complete product be returned in order to facilitate defect verification.
- This warranty for the sold consumer product does not exclude, restrict or suspend the rights of the buyer related to the regulations concerning implied warranty for defects pursuant to the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws Dz.U.2014.121).
- The warranty shall be applicable within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
