Oatey 31258 Toilet Base Plate
INSTRUCTION
- Shut off water supply.
- Remove water supply.
- Unbolt toilet at base and remove toilet carefully.
- Clean off mounting surface of floor and level surface if necessary.
- Apply a bead of adhesive around the bottom of toilet base plate approximately 1″ from the edge.
- Place and position toilet base plate on floor surface. Use alignment pegs to help align toilet base plate for straight toilet installation.
- Mount new toilet in place on top of toilet base plate per manufacturer’s instruction. New wax ring and mounting bolts may be required to seal properly
- Apply caulk around edge of toilet base plate and toilet base
- Clean toilet base plate with a mild soap and water after caulk sets. Do not use solvent based cleaners.
