BEGA 67718 Indoor Wall Luminaire

Product Information

The product is a luminaire with a lamp module. It has a connected wattage of 16W for the lamp module and 19.1W for the luminaire. The rated temperature is 25°C to 35°C. The colour temperature of the module is 3000K or 4000K, with a colour rendering index (CRI) greater than 90. The module has a luminous flux of 2440lm or 2535lm, while the luminaire has a luminous flux of 1539lm or 1600lm. The luminaire has a luminous efficiency of 80.6lm/W or 83.8lm/W.

The installation and operation of this luminaire should comply with national safety regulations. Only a qualified electrician should perform the installation and commissioning. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by improper use or installation. If modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications is considered the manufacturer.

Application

Wall luminaire: indoor luminaire made of hand-blown opaque crystal glass and metal housing, for all lighting tasks in interior applications. They are ideal for places where a soft and uniform lighting distribution is required.

Installation

LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
Disassemble the LED module.
Loosen LED connection and earth connection (plug connection).
Lead mains supply cable through the cable entry into the luminaire housing.
Fix the luminaire housing with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
It is imperative to use the enclosed gaskets. Make earth and electrical connection to the terminal.
For digital control please use the 2-pole plug connector DA, DA.
In case this connector is not used the luminaire will be operated at full light output.
Make an earth connection between LED module and luminaire housing (plug connection). Push LED-plugs into couplers as far as it will go.
Assemble LED module.
Tighten the screws evenly (max. 0,8 Nm). Please observe that the LED module is not damaged mechanically.

ATTENTION:

Make sure that the start of the thread (glass) corresponds exactly with the start of the thread (luminaire housing).
Fix the glass to the luminaire housing by turning it clockwise.
Make sure that the gasket is seated correctly.

The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.

Overvoltage protection:
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547. To achieve additional protection against e.g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection components.
