BEGA 33 344 Wall Luminaire
Product Information
This product is a wall luminaire with light emission on two sides. It provides fully glare-free light for illuminating walls surfaces and roadways adjacent to the walls. It is suitable forboth interior and exterior lighting design. The luminaire is made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel, with a crystal glass coating and silicone gasket. It has a distance of 220 mm between the two sides. The LED power supply unit operates at 220-240 V x0/50-60 Hz DC 176-264 V and is DALI-controllable. The luminaire has basic insulation between the mains and protection class I. It hasan IP 65 rating for dust tightness and protection against waterjets. It also has an impact strength of IK07, providing protection against mechanical damage.
Product Usage Instructions
- The installation and commissioning of this luminaire should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- Ensure that the luminaire is placed securely on the wall surface, following the recommended distance of 220 mm apart.
- Connect the luminaire to the LED power supply unit using appropriate wiring and ensure proper electrical connections.
- If necessary, install separate overvoltage protection components to achieve additional protection against transients and other electrical disturbances.
- Ensure that the luminaire is protected from excessive temperature by the temporary thermal regulation feature.
- For interior lighting, position the luminaire to direct light toward the desired wall surfaces.
- For exterior lighting, position the luminaire to illuminate both wall surfaces and roadways adjacent to the walls.
- Regularly clean the crystal glass coating to maintain optimal light emission.

Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.To achieve additional protection
against. g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection
components.You can find them on our website at

Safety
The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.

Installation
LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light
output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping. Undo
screws. Remove luminaire cover and glass. Lead the main supply cable through
the cable entry into the luminaire back housing. Fix the luminaire base with
enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface. Be
sure to use the gasket rings supplied. Make the earth conductor connection and
the electrical connection. For digital control please use the connecting
terminal DA, DA. In case this terminal is not used the luminaire will be
operated at full light output. In order to guarantee the maximum service life
of the electrical components, the enclosed desiccant pouch must be placed in
the luminaire. Remove the desiccant pouch from the foil packaging and place it
in the position marked by the red information label immediately before finally
closing the luminaire. Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly. Put the
luminaire cover and the glass onto the luminaire back housing and tighten the
screws evenly.
Replacing the LED module
The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire. The
light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those
of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified
persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module. Inspect and,
if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets. Defective glass must be replaced.
Close the luminaire.
Cleaning · Maintenance
Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt and deposits.
Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
