BEGA 24 036 Ceiling and Wall Luminaire

Product Information

The Decken- und Wandleuchte (Ceiling and wall luminaire) is a high-quality lighting fixture suitable for various lighting tasks. It is made of an aluminum alloy and crystal glass, providing both durability and elegance. With an IP 65 protection class, it offers excellent resistance to dust and water.

The luminaire is equipped with LED modules that have different specifications:

  • Module K3: Colour temperature of 3000 K, colour rendering index (CRI) greater than 80, module luminous flux of 195 lm, luminaire luminous flux of 92 lm, and a luminaire luminous efficiency of 57.5 lm/W.
  • Module K4: Colour temperature of 4000 K, CRI greater than 80, module luminous flux of 200 lm, luminaire luminous flux of 94 lm, and a luminaire luminous efficiency of 58.8 lm/W.

Safety

The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.
Installation
Undo locking screw and turn baffle as far as it will go. Remove baffle and glass from the luminaire base. LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping. Disassemble LED module. Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the luminaire base. Note position of application of the luminaire »arrow down«. Fix luminaire base with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface. It is essential to use the enclosed ring gaskets. Tighten cable gland as far as it will go. Make earth conductor connection and electrical connection at the plug-in terminals. Attention: Note correct plug-in terminals configuration. Brown (L) and Blue (N) must not be interchanged. (Destruction of the LED) Assemble LED module. Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly. Insert glass into the shield frame in such a way that the flattened sides of the glass are in the region of the casting bars. Then turn glass in between the bars. Place baffle with glass onto the luminaire base and turn it clockwise as far as it will go. Tighten the locking screw.

Cleaning · Maintenance
Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt and deposits. Do not use high-pressure cleaners.

Replacing the LED module

The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.The light colour and light output of BEGAreplacement modules correspond to those ofthe modules originally fitted.The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system and open the luminaire. Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module. Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets. The defective glass must be replaced. Close the luminaire.
