MULTIPLEX MUSM752R.CBR BIC Blend in Cup Units

Subject: BIC Flavor Activation or Deactivation
SCOPE: ALL MULTIPLEX BIC UNITS

TOOLS REQUIRED

• Food Grade Scale (measure to at least one decimal point)

NOTE: There are two different User Interface (UI) screens that are used on Blend-in-Cup (BIC) units. Follow instructions for correct screen configuration.

MR7 SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS

VERIFY RECIPE FILE

1. . From the DRINK menu press the BACK arrow to return to easy To UCH screen.
   

2. Press MANAGER MENU. Press A then press GREEN check.
   

3. Press DOWN arrow twice.
   

4. Verify recipe file displays MUSM752R.CBR or MUSM768R.CBR.
   

5. If recipe file does not display MUSM752R.CBR or MUSM768R.CBR then STOP and call 844-724-CARE.

6. Press BACK arrow until return to easy To UCH screen.
   
   ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE FLAVOR

7. Press MANAGER MENU. Press A then press GREEN check.
   

8. Press CONFIGURE SLOTS.
   

9. Press SLOT FLAVOR.
   

10. Press ASSIGN FLAVOR if prompted. Press SLOT to be assigned new flavor.
    NOTE : Any slot may be used, however SLOT 7 is the designated slushy base slot.
    

11. From the FLAVORS MENU press DOWN arrow until flavor appears. Press correct flavor button.
    

12. Screen will automatically return to SLOT SELECTOR screen. Confirm new flavor has been assigned to correct slot.
    

13. Press BACK arrow until return to easy To UCH screen.
    
    LOAD BAG

14. Press INVENTORY MENU then press new flavor slot.
    

15. Follow onscreen instructions for loading new flavor bag then press GREEN check.
    

16. Press FULL BAG.
    

17. Place a clean empty cup in dispense area.

18. Press PRIME button 4 to 5 times until a steady stream of new flavor product dispenses then press GREEN check.
    

19. Press BACK arrow until screen returns to easy To UCH screen.
    

20. Dispose of dispensed product in cup. Do NOT pour down the machine’s drain.
    CALIBRATE FLAVOR

21. Press MANAGER MENU. Press A then press GREEN check.
    

22. Press CONFIGURE SLOTS.
    

23. Press CALIBRATE FLAVOR.
    

24. Press slot that displays new product flavor.
    

25. Follow the onscreen instructions.
    A. Get a scale.
    B. Place empty cup on the scale.
    C. Tare or zero empty cup weight on the scale.
    D. Position the empty cup for dispense on the unit.
    E. Press GREEN check when ready to dispense.
    
    F. Wait until dispensing is complete.
    G. Remove cup from the dispense area and weigh.
    H. Press button to enter weight.
    

26. The Enter Weight screen will appear.
    A. Enter the cup weight using the number pad.
    B. Press the GREEN check when done to continue.
    

27. Confirm the weight entered is correct. Press the GREEN check to confirm or enter weight again.

28. The calibration complete screen will display. Press GREEN check to return to the calibration screen. 29. The newly calibrated slot will be highlighted in GREEN.
    A. Choose another flavor, water or ice to calibrate.
    B. Or press the return arrow to go back to the CONFIGURE SLOTS Screen. Press BACK arrow until screen returns to easy To UCH screen.

29. If new flavor activated, make a drink that uses new product flavor to confirm operation.
    A. Choose another flavor, water or ice to calibrate.
    B. Or press the return arrow to go back to the CONFIGURE SLOTS Screen. Press BACK arrow until screen returns to easy To UCH screen.

30. If new flavor activated, make a drink that uses new product flavor to confirm operation.

COMMON CONTROLLER SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS

VERIFY RECIPE FILE

1. Verify current recipe file.
   From SETTINGS screen press VERSION INFO
   Verify MENU VERSION is 0.0.07 or higher
   Press BACK arrow until return to easy To UCH screen
   ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE FLAVOR

2. Assign SLOT FLAVORS.
   From easy To UCH screen press SETTINGS
   Press “A” for password then press GREEN check
   Press CONFIGURE SLOTS
   Press SLOT FLAVOR
   Press an EMPTY slot to assign flavor
   NOTE: Any unassigned slot may be used, however SLOT 7 is the designated slushy base slot.
   Press flavor
   Repeat assigning slot flavors per store/corporate guidelines
   Press back arrow to return to easy To UCH screen
   LOAD BAG

3. Load product bags into lower refrigerated cabinet.

4. Load inventory in the INVENTORY screen.
   From easy To UCH screen press inventory LEVELS
   Press slot with flavor assigned
   Follow onscreen instructions for loading product bag and priming
   Repeat loading product bag process until all flavors have been loaded
   Press BACK arrow until return to easy To UCH screen
   CALIBRATE FLAVOR

5. Perform calibration of new flavor.
   From easy To UCH screen press SETTINGS
   Press “A” for password then press GREEN check
   Press CONFIGURE SLOTS
   Press CALIBRATE FLAVOR
   Press new flavor and follow the onscreen calibration instructions
   NOTE: Flavors and flavor fill levels may display “ghosted” or semi- transparent until flavor has been calibrated. Press the “ghosted” or semi- transparent flavor to start the calibration process.
   Press BACK arrow until return to easy To UCH screen
   CONFIRM OPERATION

6. Make several drinks in different sizes with manager present to confirm operation.
   From easy To UCH screen press PRESS & GO to access drink making menu
   Use icons on screen to make drink
   Arrow onscreen will indicate which side to place cup for blending
   Press BACK arrow until return to easy To UCH screen
   NOTE: Drink Making Screen is not accessible if cleaning timer has expired
