Product Information

The FreshBlender Water Filtration Retrofit Wall Mount is a water filtration kit that can be mounted to a wall and is compatible with all Multiplex FreshBlender units. The kit includes a wall mount filter assembly, pre-filter, 10000-P filter, clamps, elbows, fittings, tubing, and a filter manual. It is important to note that the wall mount water filter system should not block air flow to any machines and should not come in contact with any machines. The system needs to be easily accessible for staff to change the water filter cartridges.

  2. Power off the machine using the power switch on the top right of the unit and unplug it.
  3. Carefully move the machine away from the wall without damaging water or drain lines.
  4. Place a bucket under the rear drain.
  5. Turn off the water shutoff valve and disconnect the water line from the back of the machine.

  9. Verify that the gauges are secured by pressing each one into corresponding fitting.
  10. Mount the bracket to the wall using the correct hardware in each of the six bracket mounting holes. Position the water filter assembly to prevent the bracket with filters installed from interfering with air flow of any machines and verify that the water filter assembly and filters do not come in contact with any machines.
  11. Use a permanent marker to write the install date on each filter.
  12. Lubricate the o-rings with food-grade lubricant.
  13. Carefully insert the pre-filter in the left assembly slot and the filter in the right assembly slot.
  14. Assemble the tubing for the incoming water from the current water source to the filter system. Cut the tubing length to have enough length from current water supply line to water filter system water inlet.

It is important to note that before starting any installation, power off the machine and unplug it from the power source. The unit contains sharp moving parts, and gloves should be worn to protect hands. Additionally, keep the refrigeration cabinet door closed so that the product remains chilled while the unit is off.
