BIOGENESIS 3-6-12 Kg Gas HFC Automatic Device Mare
Product Information
The Automatic Device Mare Series is a gas-based fire extinguishing system manufactured by Biogenesis S.r.l. This device is available in three different versions: 3 Kg, 6 Kg, and 12 Kg. It is designed for use in new installations and requires specific components (2164, 2165, 2163) to be operational. The device is made of alloy steel with epoxypolyester powder painting in Red Ral 3000 color.
The device is certified according to the directive for pressure equipment PED 2014/68/EU and RINA certified with ISO 9094:2015. It is a quality product suitable for use in fire incidents involving electrical voltages up to a distance of 1 meter.
The device comes with various optional features such as a manual actuator with a handle, pyrotechnic cartridge for electric activation, and a pressure switch. The pressure switch is normally open, but when installed on the device, it becomes normally closed.
Product Usage Instructions
- Installation: Install the system in a vertical position using the supplied bracket. Place the gas distribution pipe and fix the nozzles according to your choice of dispensing points.
- Operating System: Remove the safety pin to make the operating system functional.
- Maintenance: It is recommended to perform maintenance every 6 months by checking the pressure. Replace the extinguishing agent every 72 months and conduct a test after 144 months from the production date.
- Spare Parts: The device comes with various spare parts that can be replaced if needed. These include valve o-ring, pressure gauge, manual actuator in control box (with a 5m cable), cylinder brackets, PVC dip tubes, brass dispensing nozzle, pyrotechnic cartridge, label, and pressure switch.

Note for pressure switch:
The pressurized device is “normally open”. The pressure switch alone, not
installed on the device, is “normally closed”.

temperature range from -30°C to +60°C, certified according to the directive
for pressure equipment PED 2014/68/EU. RINA certified, ISO 9094:2015. Quality
Product certification guaranteed by Bureau Veritas Italia.
Suitable for use on fire involving electrical voltages up to 1.000 V, at a
distance of 1 mt.

MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION
Install the system in vertical position using the supplied bracket. Place the
gas distribution pipe and fix the nozzles. Remove the safety pin to make
operating system.
