Safety instructions
DANGER FOR CHILDREN AND PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS
The exercise equipment is not suitable as a toy and must be kept out of reach
of children when not in use. Small children should not be in reach of the
device during training to avoid the risk of injury. The training device is
intended exclusively for use by adults or young people with the ap-propriate
physical and mental development.
It must be ensured that every user is familiar with the use and handling of
the device or is supervised. Parents and other supervisors must be aware of
their responsibility, as due to children‘s natural play instinct and eagerness
to experiment, situations and behaviours are to be expected for which the
training device is not built. In particular, point out to children that the
device is not a toy. Keep children away from packaging material. There is a
risk of choking!
RISK OF INJURY
Wear comfortable but not too loose clothing when exercising. Exercise barefoot
during your first attempts. This will give you more sensitivity.
Make sure you have enough room to move when exercising with your exercise
equipment.
Remove distracting/dangerous objects that you could bump into from the
training radius! Exercise at a sufficient distance from other people. Store
the training device that no one can injure themselves. The training device may
not be used by several people at the same time.
CAUTION AGAINST MATERIAL DAMAGE
Protect the training device from large tempera-ture changes, direct sunlight
and high humidity.
Avoid contact with sharp, dangerous objects and corrosive chemicals or
liquids. Should this nevertheless happen, check the product thoroughly for
damage. Keep the item away from fire and hot objects (such as glowing
cigarettes).
ASK A DOCTOR
Before you start training, consult your doctor.
Ask him/her to what extent training is appropriate for you. In the case of
special disabilities, e.g. wearing a pacemaker, inflammatory diseases of
joints or tendons, orthopaedic complaints or pregnancy, the training must be
coordinated with the doctor. Improper or excessive training can endanger your
health! Stop training immediately and consult a doctor if any of the following
symptoms occur: Nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath or chest pain. Not
suitable for therapeutic training!
BE SURE TO READ THIS FIRST!
Do not use the Balance Board to hit or push people, animals, objects, etc., as
a lever, support etc.
Do not change the construction of the Balance Board. To achieve the best
possible training results and to prevent injuries, be sure to plan a warm-up
phase before starting the training and a relaxation phase after the training.
Make sure that the training room is well ventilated. Howe-ver, avoid draughts.
Inspect the training equip-ment regularly for signs of damage. Do not use the
training device if there is visible damage. The Balance Board cannot be
repaired. A defective Balance Board must be disposed. Improper repairs can
cause considerable danger to the user.
NOTES ON TRAINING
Wear light, athletic clothing.
Do not start your exercises immediately after eating. Wait at least 60 minutes
before you start.
Do not exercise if you feel unwell, sick or tired, or if there are other
factors that prevent you from concentrating. Breathe calmly and evenly during
the exercises. Do the exercises with focus and concentration.
Do not allow yourself to be distracted during the exercises. Do not overexert
yourself. Only perform an exercise for as long as it suits your physical
fitness. If pain occurs during an exercise, stop the exercise immediately.
INTRODUCTION
Balancing, sitting or sports exercises – all this is possible with the Balance Board. A variety of training exercises on balance boards are offered on the internet. You not only learn to control your balance, but also to strengthen your coordination as well as your leg and back muscles at the same time. If your balance is affected due to illness or, for example, due to the influence of alcohol or medication, please refrain from training in order to avoid accidents. When you start with the exercises, it is possible that the movements are not yet so smooth and controlled; however, your balance will improve bit by bit and the execution of the exercises will become much easier. Exercising on the Balance Board challenges the body and the circulatory system. Consult your doctor if you have high blood pressure or other medical conditions that affect your physical performance.
EXERCISES ON THE BOARD AND TRAINING PROCEDURE
Include 5 – 10 minutes in your training plan for a warm-up phase. This way you
give your body time to get used to the strain and avoid injuries.
Perform all exercises slowly, smoothly and in a controlled manner. Make sure
you have enough space around you for the exercise. If possible, breathe out
when the muscles are tensed and breathe in when they are relaxed. As a
beginner or returning exerciser, you should perform 2 to 3 sets of 5 to 10
repetitions per exercise, depending on the exercise. Advanced exercisers can
do 3 sets of 20 to 30 repetitions per exercise.
We recommend a break of 30 seconds between sets. If you can no longer maintain
the prescribed posture due to exhaustion, stop the exercise. Increase the
amount of exercise slowly and appropriately. Take a break of 3 – 5 minutes at
the end of each exercise. Relax your muscles at the same time. Do stretching
exercises at the end of the exercise. Also follow the safety instructions.
Perform the exercises with slightly bent knees, then knees and hips are
trained. With a straight leg position, the feet and ankles are exercised. Try
to close your eyes. – – This increases the difficulty of the training.

device if there is visible damage. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents,
