3 Ways to Set Up Your Smart Plug
Start with the CYNC App
- Plug your Smart Plug into on outlet
- Download the CYNC App.
- Add the Smart Plug to the CYNC App. Tip Having trouble connecting? Move your Smart Plug doser to your router to commission
- Add your Smart Plug and other C by GE or CYNC devices to the some room or group in the CYNC App to enable whole room/group control
- To set up voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, enable CYNC / C by GE within your voice assistant app and And your devices
Get started with Amazon Frustration Free Setup
If you selected Frustration Free Setup during checkout easily pair your CYNC Plug with your Alexa voice assistant.
- Plug in your Smart Plug.
- If Alexa says, “New plug found”, you can begin using your Smart Plug with Alexa. Otherwise, go to step 3.
- Say, “Alexo, discover my devices”. Once your Smart Plug is discovered you can begin using your Plug with Alexa.
Get started using the Google Home App
- Plug your Smart Plug into an outlet
- Open Google Home app. Plug.
- Click notification to set up device and select CYNC /C by GE Smart
- Assign your Smart Plug to o room.
