HOW TO SET UP CYNC DEVICES IN THE GOOGLE HOME APP
- In the same space as your speaker or display, plug in your device.
- If you haven’t previously, set up your speaker or display.
- Launch the Google Home application.
- Tap Add Set up device in the upper left corner > new device
- To finish setup, adhere to the instructions in the program.
HOW TO CHANGE LIGHT COLOR
Slide the brightness slider to the desired percentage on the left or right, then press Done. To change the color temperature of a specific light, tap the color swatch. Select your preferred color temperature and tap Done.
HOW TO RESET
- Start by turning off the light for at least 5 seconds.
- For 8 seconds, turn on.
- Shut down for two seconds.
- Continue doing this for a further five times, or until a light bulb flashes. If the light has been successfully reset, it will flash three times.

How do I connect these bulbs with Alexa?? what apps do I need?****
To connect these bulbs to your Alexa you will need to add them to the Cync app first. Once the devices are in the Cync app you will need to tap on Settings > Voice > Alexa. It will link your Cync account to Alexa and discover the devices. Feel free to contact us directly if you need assistance.
Will these work with smart things?****
Unfortunately, our lights are not compatible with Smart Things only the Cync, Alexa, and Google Home apps.
Are the lamps outdoor rated?****
These lights are not rated or tested for outdoor use and we do not recommend them to be used in outdoor situations exposed to harsh elements. We do sell PAR38 outdoor flood-style lights that are tested and work well outdoors. Feel free to contact us directly if you have any additional questions.
Are these compatible with 5ghz?****
Unfortunately, our Direct connect devices are only compatible with 2.4ghz Wi- Fi networks at this time. Feel free to contact us directly if you have additional questions.
Are these lights dimmable?****
Yes, with the app.
can it be controlled from a dimer ?****
We do not recommend these lights to be used in dimmer-style fixtures, rotary- style lamps, and 3-way lamps. We do also sell dimmer switches that work well with these devices.
Can Cync light be used without Wi-Fi?****
Even while you may still control your direct connect lights without an internet connection, initial setup for the Cync app includes configuring a Wi- Fi connection.
Why won’t the Cync light bulb connect?****
Make that the switch is turned on and the light bulb is lit. Turning off the light at the switch or outlet for 30 seconds, then turning it back on, will “power cycle” the lightbulb.
What GE smart bulb app do I use?****
You can easily handle Cync and C by GE appliances with the Savant-powered Cync App thanks to its expanded customization, color choices, and other features.
My GE smart bulb won’t connect; why?****
Disconnect the smart light from the lamp it is plugged into or turn off the main power. Ten seconds, please. Re-plug the lamp or turn the power back on. Allow the smart light to reconnect to the network after a minute.
The smart light won’t connect to my Wi-Fi; why?****
A 2.4 GHz network must be present for Wi-Fi to work. A 5 GHz network will not permit a connection from the Smart Wi-Fi Light.
Is Wi-Fi required to connect a smart bulb?****
Although they will immediately work as a standard light bulb, you will need a Wi-Fi connection to utilize the smart home features of the bulb.
Is Cync in need of a hub?****
For simple setup and voice management of your lights, connect straight to a Google Home, Google Home Mini, or Nest device. Hub not required.
Why is the light switch on my C by GE red?****
If enabled, if the switch loses its Wi-Fi connection, the Light Ring or LED status indication will turn red.
Can you control Cync lights with two phones?****
You can log into your Cync account simultaneously on several devices, yes.
