Introduction
When checking out, choose Frustration Free Setup to have your gadget immediately associated with your Amazon Alexa device. Without a hub or bridge, you can simply connect these smart light bulbs to your Wi-Fi router to provide your Cync and C by GE smart bulbs voice control using voice assistants (available separately). By using the Cync mobile app to manage your Wi-Fi light bulbs, you can increase home security and convenience.
With these Cync smart lights, you’ll never return home to a gloomy home or experience discomfort while still in bed. These dimmable LED lights create a comfortable, warm white light. In the Cync app, create scenes for your smart bulbs, such as reduced lighting during movie time or bright lighting when you arrive home. Making your home smarter is made possible with LED smart bulbs, which fit medium base sockets for 60W incandescent A19 bulbs. These intelligent LED light bulbs are 15 times more durable and consume 84% less energy than a 60W incandescent bulb.

HOW TO SET UP CYNC (C BY GE) DEVICES IN THE GOOGLE HOME APP
- Launch the Google Home application.
- Tap Add Set up device in the upper left corner. new technology
- To finish setup, adhere to the instructions in the program.
HOW TO PUT SMART BULB IN PAIRING MODE
Connect your smart bulb to a socket, then turn it on. To show that it is in pairing mode and prepared to be paired, the blub should steadily flash. To enter pairing mode, turn the light bulbs on and off three times straight.
HOW TO RESET
- Start by turning off the light for at least 5 seconds.
- For 8 seconds, turn on.
- Shut down for two seconds.
- Continue doing this for a further five times, or until a light bulb flashes. If the light has been successfully reset, it will flash three times.

Does it work with Bluetooth?****
Yes, it will work with Bluetooth.
Battery backup****
If you are asking if there is a battery backup, the answer is no.
I am looking to use these lightbulbs for a lamp that is not near a socket. Will that work?****

Does it work with 5ghz Wi-Fi?****
The Cync Wi-Fi-enabled devices including these Light Bulbs do not work with 5ghz Wi-Fi networks only 2.4ghz Wi-Fi networks. These devices do also require Blue-tooth as well.
are these bulbs dual voltage? working on 220V also?****
Cync Smart Bulbs are rated for 120V. We do not recommend use in any other environment. Please feel free to reach out to us directly to learn more.
Are these brighter than Philips hue white lights? Other ge lights said they were 850 lumens****
Our Cync Direct Connect Soft White bulbs are 800 lumens, which are the same as the comparable Philips Hue A19 model. If you are looking for a bulb that is brighter we also provide an A21 bulb that is 1600 lumens! Do these have to be used in a hard-wired light?****
Cync Smart Light Bulbs do not have to be used in hard wired lights. Our bulbs can be used in lamps!
How do you reset the bulb without downloading the app? I missed the discovery period and can’t get it to reset****
To reset your Cync Smart bulbs follow these steps: Turn your light on and off at the light switch 5 times, or until the light blinks. Once your light blinks, it has been reset. Feel free to contact us directly if you need any assistance.
If using for front outside light will a dimmable bulb work in that type of socket?****

Are these bulbs ul (underwriters lab) rated?****

Will it work with a dimmer switch?****
yes, the Cync Direct Connect Smart Bulbs will work with a dimmer switch. We recommend you utilize one of the Cync Dimmer switches. We offer Paddle, Button, Toggle, Dimmer, and Motion with Dimmer switch styles. Our switches come in both four and three wire varieties. They are perfect for newer and older homes! Will these work with Hubitat?****

How close does the bulb need to be to the router? I’m hoping to use in my porch light fixture.****
This will depend on the internet connection at your location. We typically recommend at least 40 feet from the router. Feel free to contact us directly if you have any further questions!
I installed one bulb in my porch light. I want one in my living room light. I know the distance between the two is less then 40ft. how can I do this?****
Screw both bulbs in and set them up in the app.
