Safety instructions

  1. The appliance may only be used as described in the manual. Other use may void the warranty.
  2. Before connecting the product to the mains voltage, check that the voltage on the product matches the mains voltage.
  3. Do not use this product with a damaged plug, power cable, housing, or after a mal function or if it has suffered fall damage or if it has suffered other type of damage.
  4. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  5. Children shall not play with this product.
  6. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
  7. Keep the product and its cable out of reach of children less than 8 years of age.
  8. Ensure that the product is disconnected from the mains before removing the fan guard.
  9. Do not let the power cable hang over a sharp edge of a table or a counter (furniture).
  10. Do not let it not come into contact with any hot surface.
  11. Protect it from pinch damage.
  12. Never place or wind the power cable around the product. The power cable must never come in contact with the fan during usage.
  13. Only use the product with a fully unwound power cable. Danger of overheating and fire!
  14. Do not pull the power cable to disconnect the power plug. Pull the power plug straight out from the wall when disconnecting.
  15. The power plug must be easy to access at all times, so the power plug can be disconnected as quickly as possible.
  16. Do not attempt to service this product or its cable yourself, instead please contact a fully qualified electrician or the retailer or our support. Improper repairs can expose the user to danger!
  17. Always disconnect the product from the mains after each use or when adjusting it or moving it from one location to another, and before you clean the product.
  18. Do not leave the product unsupervised. Disconnect the product from the mains before leaving your home.
  19. Do not leave the product unattended near children, vulnerable persons or pets.
  20. Do not cover the product.
  21. Never use or touch the product with wet or moist hands. Risk of personal injury!
  22. Make sure the product is placed on an even, flat, stable and dry surface to protect the product from overturning during usage. Do not use the product on uneven surfaces.
  23. Do not hang or mount the product on a wall or the ceiling. Do not place the product near curtains or plants or in their vicinity.
  24.  Maintain a safety distance of at least 50 cm from the product to other objects.
  25. Do not place the product or any parts of the product near an open flame, heat ventilation, cooking stove or other heating appliances or other products that produce heat. Keep the product away from flammable objects.
  26. Do not use the product in flammable atmospheres (e.g. in the vicinity of combustible gases or sprays). Fire hazard!
  27. Do not use the product without fully assembled fan guard. Risk of personal injury! The fan guard must be securely closed during use.
  28. Never touch moving parts. Avoid contact with moving parts or running fan blades with any part of your body or your hair. Risk of personal injury and damage to the product!
  29. Never insert fingers, pencils or other objects through the fan guard when the product is in use or when it is disconnected from the mains. Do not insert any foreign objects into the fan guard or in any opening of the product. Risk of personal injury, electric  shock and damage to the product!
  30. This product may not be used in bathrooms, showers, wash bowl, swimming pool or in the immediate vicinity of water, damp or other liquids etc. or where there is a risk of immersion into liquid or splashing of liquids onto the product.
  31. Do not immerse the product, its power plug or cable in water or other liquids.
  32. Do not use the product outdoors.
  33. The product is for household use only.
  34. The product is not for commercial or industrial use.
  35. Do not operate the product with an extension cable or interposed timer switches or with other means which can switch the device automatically on or off as this can cause overheating and fire.
  36. Do not use this fan with any external speed control device to reduce the risk of electric shock, overheating and fire.
  37. Do not use the product close to windows. Rain may create electrical hazard! Risk of fatal injury!
  38. Never place the product where it could be subject to direct sunlight or excessive dust.
  39. Never place the unit where it could be subject to mechanical vibration or shock.
  40. During assembling or disassembling the product may not be connected to the mains.
  41. Only connect to the mains after the product has been fully and correctly assembled.
  42. Do not place the power cable under a cover or under a carpet or cover the cable with objects. The power cable should not cross any passage for people to avoid tripping hazard or product damage.
  43. Keep all packaging away from children (plastic bag, carton, plastic foam, etc.).
  44. Never try to open up or repair the device by yourself as this can void the warranty and could also result in damage to property and personal injury. Instead please contact a fully qualified electrician or the retailer or our support.

Assembly

  1. Mount the fan base to the fan body. Make sure the hole between base and body are aligning.

  2. Seen from underneath the fan: Rotate the knobs about 90°.

Use

During usage, the LED display automatically turns off after 30 seconds.
Control the fan either from the control panel or the remote control.

  1. Press the on/off button to power on or off.

  2. Press the speed buttons to increase or decrease the fan speed by 1. Speed settings are 1-12. Current speed will be displayed on the LED display.
    Note: Changing fan speed only works in “normal” fan mode.

  3. To turn off automatically. To set the timer, press the timer button.
    Timer settings are: 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 11, 12 hours. Set time will be displayed on the LED display. When the timer runs out the fan will automatically turn off.

  4. To turn on automatically. To set the timer, press the timer button.
    Timer settings are: 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 11, 12 hours. Set time will be displayed on the LED display. When the timer runs out the fan will automatically turn on.

  5. Press the mode button to change modes (Normal/natural/sleep/quiet). Normal = the fan works at selected speed. Natural = the fan simulates natural wind by changing speed automatically. Sleep = the fan changes speed by 1 every 30 mins until it reaches low. Quiet = this is the fan’s most quiet mode.

  6. Press the oscillation button to turn swinging motion on or off.

  7. Unplug the fan from the mains when not in use or when it is left unattended.

Remote control

Insert a CR2032 type battery (included) into the back of the remote control.
The remote control functions are the same as they are on the control panel.
Note: the remote control must be pointed towards the fan in order to work.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning, switch off the device and disconnect the product from the mains. Never clean this product when it is connected to power!
Use a soft dry cloth to clean the product.
Keep the ventilation on the back of the fan free from dust.
Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaning products or polishing cleaning products to clean.
They can damage the surface of the fan.
For storing the product we recommend using the original carton. Store in a cool and dry place protected from dust.
Fan blade cleaning
The back of the fan has a plastic protection on the air inlet, it can be removed by unscrewing one screw and pulling down and lifting off the plastic protection. After removing the plastic protection you can clean the fan blades. After cleaning the fan blades, attach the plastic protection and screw it firmly.

The carton can be used for storing or moving the product. Dispose of the packing material by recycling it, according to your local regulations.
