Safety Warnings and notes

The refrigerant used in your portable air conditioner is the environmentally friendly hydrocarbon R290.This refrigerant is odorless, and compared to the alternative refrigerant, the R290 is an ozone-free refrigerant, and its effect is very low. The drawings in this manual may differ from the actual product, the drawings are included as a reference.

Warnings and notes

  1. Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

  2. The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (for example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater.)

  3. Do not pierce or burn any part of air conditioner.

  4. Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odor.

  5. Appliance shall be installed, operated and stored in a room with a floor area larger than 12 m2 .

  6. Keep any required ventilation openings clear of obstruction.

  7. Servicing shall be performed only as recommended by the manufacturer.

  8. The appliance shall be stored in a well-ventilated area where the room size corresponds to the room area as specified for operation.

  9. Any person who is involved with working on or breaking into a refrigerant circuit should hold a current valid certificate from an industryaccredited assessment authority, which authorizes their competence to handle refrigerants safely in accordance with an industry recognized assessment specification.

  10. Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Maintenance and repair requiring the assistance of other skilled personnel shall be carried out under the supervision of the person competent in the use of flammable refrigerants.

  11. All working procedure that affects safety shall only be carried by authorized service personnel only

  12. The air conditioner is only suitable for indoor use and is not suitable for other applications.

  13. Follow local grid interconnection rules while installing the air conditioner and ensure that it is properly grounded. If you have any question on electrical installation, follow the instructions of the manufacturer, and if necessary, ask a professional electrician to install it.

  14. Place the air conditioner in a flat and dry place and keep the distance more than 50cm to surrounding objects or walls.

  15. Do not put any object into the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner. Keep the air inlet and outlet free from obstructions.

  16. When drainage pipes are installed, ensure that the drainage pipes are properly connected, and are not distorted or bent.

  17. When moving the air conditioner, make sure that it is in an upright position.

  18. The air conditioner should stay away from gasoline, flammable gas, stoves and other heat sources.

Control panel

  1.  Power: On/Off button. When the power is off during the operation, theprevious setting will resume when it restarts.
  2. Timer: press to set timing. When the timing symbol is flashing, press up and down key to select the required timing value. Timing values can be set in 1-24 hours
  3. Down: press to decrease temperature and timing set value.
  4. Mode: press to switch mode as cooling, fan, dehumidifying modes.
  5. Up: press to increase temperature and timing set value.
  6. FAN: Press the “FAN” button to select high, low speed (In cooling and fan mode). Press “MODE” to select fan mode.
  7. Sleep Mode: Press to turn on sleep mode. When sleep mode is turned on during cooling mode, the temperature will be increased by 1ºC after one hour and again +1ºC after another hour and remain at that temperature.

Sleep mode cannot be used in dehumidifying fan mode. When the water tank is full the machine will turn off and sleep mode will be cancelled. When the air conditioner is powered on for the first time, and then the air conditioner will enter standby mode.

Protection modes

Frost Protection:

In cooling or dehumidifying modes, if the temperature of the exhaust pipe is too low, the air conditioner will automatically enter protection status. When of the exhaust pipe rises to a normal temperature, it will revert automatically.

Overflow Protection:
When water in the water tank exceeds the warning level, the air conditioner will automatically sound an alarm, and the “FULL” indicator light will flash and should empty the water tank. (see more details in Drainage Instructions)

Automatic Defrosting (only in cooling mode)
The machine has automatic defrosting function.

Protection Function of the Compressor
To increase the service life of the compressor, it has a 3-minute delay booting protection function after the compressor is turned off.

Installation

Warning : before using the air conditioner, keep it upright for at least two hours. The air conditioner can be easily moved in the room. In the moving process, ensure that the air conditioner is in the upright position and it should be placed on a flat surface. Do not install or use the air conditioner in the bathroom or other humid environments.

Insert assembled exhaust pipe (the end of the exhaust joint) into the back- panel vent slot (push to the left) and complete the assembly (as shown in figure 1).

Installation of window sealing plate components

  1. Adjust their opening distance to bring both ends of the assembly into contact with the window frame, and fix various components of the assembly.

  2. Half open the window, and mount the window sealing plate assembly to the window (as shown in Fig.2 and Fig.3). Components can be placed in horizontal and vertical direction.

  3. The flat end of the exhaust pipe joints must be snapped into place.

  4. The distance between the body and walls or other objects shall be at least 50 cm (as shown in Fig.4).

  5. Elongate the exhaust pipe and snap the flat end of the exhaust pipe joints into the hole of the window sealing plate assembly (as shown in Fig.5 and Fig.6).

  6. The pipe cannot be bent more than 45 degrees.

  1. Mark the middle “M” of the unfolded cloth seal before installing, to easier find the middle later.

  2. Mark the middle on the window’s edge with “A” and “B” for example, or yourchoice of marks. The marks (“A” and “B”) must be placed exactly inopposite positions of each other.

  3. Place the hook-and-loop fastener tape on the edge of the window (usually 1 cm wide), where the window handles are attached

  4. Now fasten the seal to the hook-and-loop fastener. First side “A”, then side “B”. Begin in the middle and work all the way to the up and down or left and right depending on window type.

  5. When closing the window take care that the seal does not get stuck on the window’s edge.

  6. Open the zip preferably at the position marked with “S” and attach the exhaust hose

Important Notice:

The length of the exhaust hose shall be 280~1,500mm, and this length is based on the specifications of the air conditioner. Do not use extension tubes or replace it with other different hoses, or this may cause a malfunction. Exhaust host must be not blocked; otherwise it may cause overheating.

Drainage Instructions

This air conditioner has two drainage methods: manual drainage and continuous drainage.

Manual drainage

Please note that neither drainage pipes nor drainage hoses are included.

They must be purchased separately. For reference it is a 0.5-inch drainage hose that would be needed.

When the air conditioner stops after the water is full, turn off the air conditioner power and unplug the mains power plug.

Notes : Move the air conditioner carefully, so as not to spill the water in the water pan at the bottom of the AC.

  • Place you water container drainage next to side water outlet behind the body. Unscrew the drainage cover and unplug the water plug, the water will automatically flow into the water container.
  • During drainage, the body can be tilted slightly backwards.
  • When the water is discharged, use the water plug, and tighten the drainage cover.

Continuous drainage (only applicable to dehumidifier mode)

  1. Unscrew the drainage cover and unplug the water plug.
  2. Set the drainage pipe into the water outlet.
  3. Connect the drainage pipe to the bucket.

Cleaning
Before cleaning and maintenance, turn off the air conditioner and unplug the plug.

  • Clean the outer surface of AC with surface of the air conditioner with a wet soft cloth. Don’t use chemical detergents such as benzene, alcohol, gasoline,… for cleaning.

  • Clean the filter by normal water continuously since it has direct effect on AC efficiency.

  • Unscrew one screw fixed by EVA filter net and back shell with screwdriver and take out EVA filter net.
    Cleaning

  • Put the EVA filter screen into warm water with neutral detergent (about 40℃) and dry it in the shade after rinsing clean

Storage

  • Unscrew the drainage cover, unplug the water plug, and discharge the water in the water pan into other water containers or directly tilt the body to discharge the water into other containers.
  • Turn off the air conditioner, unplug the power plug and install the water plug and the drainage cover.
  • Store the AC and accessories in a dry place
  • Remove the batteries of the remote control

Troubleshooting’

Do not repair or disassemble the air conditioner by yourself. Unqualified repair will lead to failure of the warranty card, and may cause damage to users or their properties
