Product Information

The FT-528 is a fan that can be used for indoor purposes only. The fan has a remote control and a control panel on the fan itself. It has three modes of operation – normal fan mode, natural wind mode, and sleep mode. The fan also has an oscillation feature that can be turned on or off. It has a timer that can be set using the timer button on the control panel. The fan has a display that shows the speed and timer, and another display that shows the mode of operation and oscillation status. The fan’s height can be adjusted by turning it.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Assemble the base to the pole using parts A1 and A2.
  2. Attach the poles together using parts B2 and B3.
  3. Attach the back fan guard (part B3) to the motor shaft (part B2).
  4. Attach the pole (part B4) to the base (part B5).
  5. Attach the bottom screw (part B6) to the base (part B5).
  6. Attach the lock nut (part B7) and fan blade (part B8) to the motor shaft (part B2) in that order. Then attach the lock nut (part B9) to the fan blade (part B8).
  7. Attach the front fan guard (part B10) to the back fan guard (part B3). Press the guards together in sequence 1, 2, 3 and then attach the screw.
  8. To adjust the height of the fan, turn it.
  9. Use the remote control or the control panel on the fan to operate the fan. Use the speed button to adjust the fan speed.
  10. Use the oscillation button to turn the oscillation feature on or off.
  11. Use the on/off button to turn the fan on or off.
  12. Use the timer button to set the timer for the fan.
  13. The speed and timer display shows the current speed and timer settings.
  14. The display on the fan shows the mode of operation (normal fan mode, natural wind mode, or sleep mode), the oscillation status, and the timer setting.
  15. Do not use the fan near a window as rain may create an electrical hazard.

  • B7. Lock nut (back fan guard)
  • B8. Fan blade

  • A1 -> A2
  • Attach the base to the pole. Attach the poles together.
  • Fan blade (B7-> B9)
  • Attach the lock nuts and fan blade in order.
  • A3 Attach the fan guards together -> It helps to press in sequence 1, 2, 3 -> Attach the screw.

Height adjustment

Turn to adjust height.

The remote control has a range of 5 meters and 30° wide angle. Batteries: 2 x AAA.

Safety instructions

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. If the power cord or plug is damaged, have it replaced by qualified personnel.
  2. To protect against electrical shock; do not immerse the device, cord and/or plug into water or other liquid.
  3. This device can be used by children 8 years and above, people with disabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are kept under supervision or given instructions concerning the use of the device in a safe way and that they understand the risks. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
  4. Unplug the device from the mains outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  5. Keep electrical appliances out of reach of children or debilitated persons. Do not let them use the device without supervision.
  6. When the fan has been assembled, the rotor blade guard should not be removed anymore.
    • Prior to cleaning unplug the fan.
    • The rotor guard should not be dissembled/opened to clean the rotor blades.
    • Wipe the fan enclosure and rotor blade guard with a slightly damp cloth.
  7. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other object through the protective blade guard when fan is running.
  8. Disconnect fan when moving from one place to another.
  9. Be sure that the fan is on a stable surface when you use it, to avoid tipping it over.
  10. If the fan tips over during operation, turn the device off and unplug it from the mains immediately.
  11. Do not use the fan near the window, rain may create an electrical hazard.
  12. For indoor use only.

Maintenance and cleaning

The fan requires little maintenance. If the fan has been broken and requires service, contact qualified personnel.

  1. The fan must be disconnected from the mains before cleaning and assembly.
  2. To ensure adequate air flow to the fan motor, keep the vents on the back of the fan motor free of dust. Note: Do not dissemble the fan to remove dust.
  3. Wipe the exterior with a soft wet cloth and mild detergent.
  4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents to prevent scratching the surface. Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: gasoline, or thinning solvent.
  5. Protect the motor housing and internal parts from water and other liquids.
  6. Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. Thoroughly remove soap film with dry cloth.
