Product Information

The JYL7204A lighting fixture is a ceiling-mounted lamp that comes with a mounting bracket, canopy, wire connectors, wire, driver, regulator, and lamp body. It is 24 x 24 x 12-72 1/2 inches in size. The external flexible cable or cord of this lamp cannot be replaced if damaged. The product should be assembled on a soft surface to prevent scratching the finish during assembly.

Product Usage Instructions

WARNING: We recommend installation of this lighting fixture be done by a licensed electrician. Switch off the main electrical supply from the main fuse box/circuit breaker before installation. Inspect item carefully before attempting to install. If there is any damage or obvious defect, do not install. Item may not be returned once it has been installed.

Preparation
Before beginning assembly of the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated assembly time is 20 minutes.

Assembly Steps

1. Take out machine screw (A) and mounting bracket (B) from canopy (H).
2. Fix the mounting bracket (B) to the outlet box with machine screw (C).
3. Make wire connections, with wire connectors (D), following the reference chart listed in the instructions.
4. Fix the ceiling canopy (H) so that the screws protruding from the mounting bracket go into the holes in the canopy, then secure it with the machine screw (A).
5. Use regulator (G) to adjust the length of wire, put the wire into regulator (G) can be shorter, press regulator (G) and take out wire from regulator (G) can be longer.
6. Turn on switch, light up.

• The external flexible cable or cord of this lamp cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the lamp shall be destroyed.

Grounding Instructions

For installation in the United States: Wrap ground wire from outlet box around green on mounting bracket, no less than 2 inches from wire end. Tighten ground screw. If fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect to outlet ground wire with a wire connector.
For installation in Canada: If fixture is supplied with ground wire, wrap ground wire around green grounding screw on mounting bracket. Tighten ground screw.

WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL. ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture. To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slighly damperned clean clorth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture. Do not use any cleaners with chemical, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully

4. Fix the ceiling canopy (H) , so that the screws protruding from the mounting bracket go into the holes in the canopy,then secure it with the machine screw (A).

5. Use regulator (G) to adjust long of wire, put the wire into regulatior(G) can be shorter, press regulatior (G) and take out wire from regulator (G) can be longer.

6. Turn on switch, light up.
