Installation
WARNING: ALL INSTALLATION MUST BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.

- It is up to the user to guarantee that transport , connection, maintenance and repairs are carried out by qualified personnel.
- The manual must be kept for the life of the step and passed on to any subsequent owner.

ALL INSTALLATION MUST BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
- Remove the step from the packaging. Lock the step using the appropriate mounting holes.
- For fixing it is necessary to use M8 screws of the length suitable for the thickness of the existing support. Use only self locking nuts.
- For clamping forces see the table below based on the strength class of the bolt used. Use a suitable torque wrench for verification.

- Make sure that the fixing points on those structural parts of the vehicle for which the manufacturer guarantees a mechanical resistance to the maximum loads tolerable by the step.
- In the case of the double step this may require cutting of the casing of the vehicle. Position the step control switch near the door where the step is mounted in a way as to prevent accidental use.
- It is the responsibility of the installer to carry out the assembly operation to avoid risky points such as sharp edges.
- At the end of the assembly check to ensure no incorrect movement.
- Warning : the step has moving parts so ensure there are no people near the step, especially children.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Strictly follow the instructions supplied with the step.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility in the event of malfunction due to incorrect installation on the vehicle.
- Ensure all wiring connectors are covered with insulating material to prevent exposure of contacts to the elements.
- This product must only be used for which it is conceived, that is to go up and down from vehicles in general. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any improper use.
- With the vehicle parked the step opening and closing mechanism is controlled by the operator using the switch, once pressed it must be released when fully opened. The user must comply with safety regulations. Ensure the step has come out fully before releasing the button and ensure the same when closing. Make sure no children stand on or near the step during operation.
- The steps are equipped with a mechanical release mechanism to allow the manual movement of the step.
- Always ensure the vehicle is stable and remove the power supply before manual intervention.
- In the upper part of the rear lever there is a small plate which is bolted to the step levers. To unlock the step unscrew with a 13mm wrench and manually close the step. On the opposite side is a hole which will support the step in the closed position using the removed screw.

Motor protection
The motor of each step is protected by a resettable fuse which cuts the
current in the event of a prolonged lock.
