Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture with model number 71262-66. It comes with a mounting plate (Part#A-020), a ground screw, two mounting screws, a candle cover (CCV21069P-66), and fixture wires in black, white, and green/bare copper. Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation process, shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker to avoid any electrical hazards.
  2. Remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  3. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area.
  4. Install the mounting plate (Part#A-020) using the provided mounting screws
  5. Attach the ground screw to the mounting plate.
  6. Connect the fixture wires to the house wires as follows:
    • Fixture wires black to house wires black (hot)
    • Fixture wires white to house wires white (neutral)
    • Fixture wires green/bare copper to house wires green/bare copper (ground)
  7. Attach the candle cover (CCV21069P-66) to the fixture.
  8. Test the fixture by turning on the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
  9. If the fixture is working correctly, your installation is now complete.
  10. If you are unsure about any part of the installation process, consult a qualified electrician to avoid any risk of fire or electrical hazards.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

  • Mounting plate (1)
  • (Part#A-020) Ground screw (1)
  • Mounting screws (2)

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.

  3. Screw the mounting screws (C) into mounting plate (B) ensuring they are spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the back plate (G).

  4. Attach mounting plate (B) using outlet box screws (F) to the outlet box (A) (not supplied). The side of mounting plate marked “GND” must face out. (Fig 1)

  5. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig 2. with connectors (E), making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (B) using the green screw (D) provided. After the wires are connected, carefully tuck them inside the outlet box.
    FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

  6. Place the back plate (G) over mounting screws (C), follow by rubber gasket (Q), then secure to wall using cap nuts (H). (Fig 1)

  7. To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box (A) and causing a short, use clear silicone sealant to outline the outside of fixture back plate (G) where it meets the wall leaving a space at bottom to allow moisture a means to escape. (Fig.3)

  8. To replace the glass, remove gaskets (M,8pcs) and loosening the screws (L,8pcs) to remove cover (K). Insert the new glass (J) into the fixture frame from the bottom. Secure the lower cover (K) by screwing screws (L,8pcs) until tight and reinstalling gaskets (M,8pcs) on the lower cover (K).

  9. Install (2) two candelabra base bulbs (I) up to 40 Watts, or CFL or LED equivalent (not included), in accordance with the fixture specification.(DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING) (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

  10. This fixture is ETL listed for wet location applications.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the fixture.
