Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Hoover UH74220PC MAXLife Pro Pet Swivel Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner and the Hoover UH74220PC MAXLife Pro Pet Swivel Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner?
The Hoover UH74220PC MAXLife Pro Pet Swivel Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner is a slightly newer version of the Hoover UH74220PC MAXLife Pro Pet Swivel Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner.
Is this item still available?

Does this come with free shipping?

Does the brush roller become tangled with the long dog hair?
It performs significantly better than my previous Shark, which was claimed to not tangle with dog hair.
Do you have to lean over to adjust the settings from carpet length to bare floor, and if so, how?
I don’t and don’t have any issues. You can move it a little bit closer to the ground by pressing the “brush roll” button on the top. seamlessly transitions from carpet and bare floor
Do the brushes tangle with hair?
No, the vacuum is among the first I’ve ever owned where it doesn’t!
How is tangled hair cleaned?
If it becomes tangled, I would simply cut the threads and pull. More seems to simply make it through to the dirt receptacle with this vacuum than with my old vacuum of a different brand, which is not accumulating as much. I also have two shedder dogs and a long-haired cat. The vacuum does indeed gather up hair. Be aware that it doesn’t come with a turbo brush; instead, it has a little attachment with rubbery ribs for hair removal. Although much labour is required, it works well.
How much cord is there?
A 30 foot cord is used.
How well does this vacuum perform with long human hair?
I purchased it in the vain hope that it would pick up my hair, but it didn’t. I vacuumed, then I went over and scooped up my hair with an old vacuum. It’s not something I advise for your hair. I don’t know if it matters that my hair is fine.
